Do you accept senior travelers aging up to 82 but healthy?

As we generally do not have passengers within that age range, we would kindly require that travelers of 82 years join the tour with a partner or companion. This ensures both comfort and support throughout the trip.

Are seniors up to 81 years old able to join this Balkans trip? We are healthy but the trip age policy seems to be 18-59.

While our standard age policy is 18-59, we are happy to welcome senior travellers who are healthy and able to fully participate in the itinerary. We look forward to having you all with us and making sure you enjoy a comfortable and memorable journey through the Balkans.

My wife is 52 years old and I am 68 years old, but I am very healthy. I run 10 kilometres every day and do anaerobic exercise. We go abroad twice a year. We have been to 52 countries and used to kayak in Antarctica. We would like to join this group. Please consider it.

The age range advertised is rather a guideline and denotes the average age range of the tour group; we're quite flexible and welcome guests of all ages. What matters most is that you're comfortable with the itinerary and the pace of the trip!

Is the tour suitable for travelers over 59 years old?

While our advertised age range is up to 59, we do occasionally make exceptions depending on the tour and group dynamics. We can check if we can accommodate your booking by matching you with another passenger of a similar age in a shared room.

Can you please explain why we'll not go inside Peles Castle on Day 3?

Can you please clarify if we are actually going inside Corvin Castle and Brukenthal Palace?

Could you tell me the arrival and departure dates and best times (for the 24 May to 8 June option), so that I can confirm the dates with my employer? Also, are there any further coupons/special deals that you could add? Also, considering this would be summer time, would the hotels be air-conditioned?

Your dates are Sat 24 May 2025 - Sun 8 Jun 2025. Unfortunately we do not have extra discounts or coupons to add to the offer already applied to your booking. All hotels may not be air-conditioned yet in May. Most hotels switch to air-conditioning in mid-June/July to August.

Do you provide invitation letter for my husband to complete his Romania tour visa application

Unfortunately, we do not provide invitation letters for visa applications. We recommend checking with the Romanian embassy or consulate for alternative documentation requirements.

  Actually we have a few people together, not only one. I didn't choose the number because I don't know how many yet. It could be 2, 4 or 6. Because there is no age limit for your 14-day Balkan trip, we might join that plan. It will be next year. So if we have more than 2 people, is there a limit for the age?

  Unfortunately, access to the interior of Peles Castle is not possible due to restrictions in place. However, we will still have the opportunity to admire its stunning neo-Renaissance architecture and scenic surroundings in the Carpathian Mountains. Yes, you will be going inside Corvin Castle as part of the visit. Regarding Brukenthal Palace, it is part of the Sibiu sightseeing tour, but there is no mention of going inside.

  On arrival at the hotel around 7pm, have an informal welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travellers. Check in is at 2pm therefore you can arrive any time between. At the end the tour ends around 6pm, therefore you can arrange a flight after 9PM.

Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before November 24th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after November 24th, 2026, a minimum payment of $150 is required to confirm your booking with Travel Talk. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Travel Talk will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Travel Talk" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
