Our trip was excellent to the Balkins. Lale our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the history the countries we visited. The accommodations were excellent and the restaurants chosen were first rate. Our guide was not only knowledgeable, he was so positive and keen to show us all the sights. My wife and I chose the self drive option and it was the best decision for us. The car was great, and having the freedom to stop wherever we wanted. What made it perfect was arriving in a complex city like Sarajevo and having a wonderful local guide waiting for us to show us the Baščaršija and the Tunnel Museum. All our hotels were booked, one great meal a day was included, and the local support team was always a quick text away. It was the ideal mix of a road trip and a guided tour.
