This was my first group tour and I loved it. Alessio was great. He was on top of everything. He has a great sense of humor. I felt very safe and I didn’t have to worry about the details. I would definitely like to explore other tour options.

This tour was 2 parts…Taste of Salento was an excellent experience while the visit to Matera would rank as good. Staying at the family masseria in Castiglione was an enjoyable & relaxing time as the pace was relaxed but we visited a different location every day. Matera started off very frustrating as we struggled to find our hotel & got either late or incomplete answers to our queries. Turned out the directions were wrong & the hotel was closed for their afternoon break…information that was never communicated to us. This experience got better over the next days with the tours that had been arranged.
