On average, how much time is spent on the bus each day for the Sicily food tour?

All the transfers are by private air-conditioned vehicle. Due to the distance covered during the week, some of the drives are quite long but should never exceed four hours (including stops). Due to traffic restrictions in a lot of the historic centres visited, you may have to carry your suitcase over cobbled pavements, although the bus will leave you as close to your hotel as possible.

Can we get our money back or transfer it to another trip? I'd also like more details on the hotels; if we get a singles supplement, how big will the rooms be, what size beds, and will they be exterior or interior rooms?

If you have to cancel your booking: From the date your Booking Confirmation is issued up to 90 days prior to departure - Deposit can be transferred to a new booking which must be made within 3 months of the original cancellation. Single rooms can either be a double bed or two twin beds. Rooms are quite nice size. On this Sicily trip, we use three- and four-star hotels near historic centres.

The start hotel is approximately 40 minutes' drive from the airport. Exodus provides one group arrival transfer from the airport, which is timed to coincide with the arrival of a chosen flight from London, UK. You may join this transfer at no extra cost, provided you can be at the airport before the transfer leave. There's a group departure transfer to Catania Airport that's scheduled to align with a flight to London, UK.

What is the age range of travelers on the tour?

Sicily was great, the transportation was very good, fellow passengers were a great bunch who mixed well. Food and wine experiences were good, but for me the highlight of the trip was ancient and modern Sicily. The tour guide was lovely and tried very hard but with limited English understanding, was not able to provide any significant on board commentary or quell the frustrations that accrued as we drove from place to place. Due to Italian legislation, tour leaders are not allowed to guide groups in some cities, museums and churches.
