  Is it possible to go to this tour alone? There will be plus expenses because of it? Just asking for future reference. Probably I will not travel now, maybe next year.

    It is possible to go on the tour alone. The overall cost of the trip will remain the same. If you prefer a single room, a single supplement fee will apply. If you choose a twin shared room, you will be paired with another solo traveler of the same gender. Contiki trips have an age restriction and are only available to travelers aged 18-35 years old.

  We are interested in a tour but see the age range goes up to age 35 only. We are active 70's age. So does that mean we cannot go? Italian expresso winter is tour we like, b/c we want to see Venice and Cinque de Terre.

    Apologies, all our Contiki tours are strictly for travellers ages 18 to 35 years old only. We are unable to accommodate travellers outside of this age range.

  Do you have any tours comparable to the Contiki tours that are made for older folks that still have great health. Everything thing I find is for the under 35 crowd. ie: Italian Expresso tours

We have a responsibility to adhere to our promise of travel for 18-35's and provide the type of holiday our travelers expect.   What is cancellation policy Also i am planning for 17 dec tour of Italy and cannot afford the change in date as my school vacation starts from it. Also what if the tour got cancelled due to less no of people

    As it is so close to departure this trip is a definite departure so therefore will be operating. I would recommend that if interested you book quickly as space is filling up.

  how strict are your age range rules, I'm a young 42 year old and the Italian espresso trio seems perfect for me apart from the age range

    Unfortunately, the trip you have enquired about is a youth specific tour run by Contiki and geared exclusively towards younger travellers between the ages of 18-35. They are sadly unable to make any exceptions to this. These trips are very popular with backpackers and university students who are going on vacation looking for a heavy focus on nightlife and are happy to use budget multi-share hostels as accommodation (4 to 6 people to a room, in bunk beds and shared bathrooms).

  I wanted to ask which hotels we will be staying at or at least when we would have more details on the accommodation as I'm planning to book for the 12th. I also wanted to ask if it would be possible to check in early or leave my baggage at the hotel on the first day as I will be arriving around 9 am.

    If you have a booking, the pre-trip hotel in Rome will be the Hotel Genova Rome. Check-in is at 2pm and early check in will be based on availability when you arrive at the hotel. I recommend asking if there is a room available when you arrive. If not, the hotel does offer luggage storage.

    On average, between 60 and 70% of our travellers go solo so you won't be the only one. On our trips that use hotel accommodation, we can room you with another same-gender traveller so there is no single-supplement fee, or you can choose to have your own room for a little extra. Hotels is 3-4 stars. No you are not able to choose the hotel, it is a set accomodation. Our trips cannot be customized. Our trips is a set itinerary.
