Itinerary
- Day 1
Tirana to Durres to Berat
You'll leave Tirana at 09:00 and drive to Durres, a city that's been around for over 25 centuries. There you'll walk through the Roman Amphitheater and check out the Medieval Market on a guided city tour. After that, it's on to Berat, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its Ottoman architecture. You'll explore the three historic neighborhoods of Kala, Mangalem, and Gorica, then visit the Orthodox Monastery and the Onufri Museum of Iconography. By evening you'll settle in for the night in Berat.

- Day 2
Berat to Vlora to Butrint to Gjirokastra
Starting from Berat, you'll head to the Zverneci Monastery, a Byzantine-style structure sitting on an island in the Narta Lagoon that you'll reach by crossing a scenic bridge. Then it's on to Vlora, the City of Albanian Independence, where you'll get a short city tour and drive along the Albanian Riviera with free time to wander through coastal villages. From there, you'll check out Butrint, a UNESCO Heritage site and Albania's most important archaeological location with ancient Greek and Roman ruins, plus a quick stop at the nearby island of Ksamil. The day ends in Gjirokastra, a medieval stone city with a unique character where you'll spend the night.

- Day 3
Gjirokastra to Tirana
You'll start the morning on a city tour of Gjirokastra, walking through its distinctive fortress-style houses and charming cobblestone paths. Later in the day you'll head back to Tirana, Albania's capital, where you'll get an in-depth look at the city's contrasting architecture and historical development.

- Day 4
Tirana to Kruja to Shkoder
The day starts with a city tour of Tirana where you'll see the contrasts between early 20th century architecture, communist-era buildings, and modern structures. You'll then visit Bunk Art, a nuclear bunker with over 140 rooms that was built during the communist regime. After lunch you'll drive to Kruja, a city recognized for its medieval history, traditions, and religious tolerance, and take a guided city tour there. By late afternoon you'll head north to Shkoder for the evening.

- Day 5
Shkoder to Tirana
You'll visit the Castle of Shkoder and take a city tour of Shkoder itself, the capital and largest city of North Albania. Later you'll drive back toward Tirana, stopping for a gastronomic experience with local cuisine around Lake Skadar at Mrrizi I Zanave, a restaurant recognized among the top 100 in the world. You'll arrive back in Tirana in the late afternoon.
