Greg was a pleasure as a tour guide. Very prepared and open to questions. He took extra time before each stop to individually ask if we had questions. Always a smiling face and positive attitude. He made us all feel that he really cared about our having an enjoyable stress free trip. Most importantly he kept everyone on time for departures seamlessly. Would love to have him again. He truly added a lot of personal touches along the way.

Our guide Michelle was excellent. The city sightseeing tours on the bus were a waste of time. Our local tour guide in Edinburgh was awful. Why the laughing through most of her talking? Very irritating. The Fish & Chips dinner in the local dumpy restaurant was the worst meal of the trip. Otherwise just what we expected.

We really enjoyed our trip The Best of Ireland and Scotland (15 Days) with Trafalgar. The Travel Director was excellent, lots of knowledge of local history as well as overall in Ireland & Scotland. The Drivers were great, the Local Specialist were excellent as well. We know this going into the trip but the amount of time on the Coach was a lot. We will consider that in future trips. Overall we had an excellent experience!

Do we pass by Connemara and the Cliffs of Moher? Is the tour in English? Can I have a French audio guide during the visits? Do I have some freedom during this stay, for example if I don't want to go on a particular visit? Or for the meals not included? The outbound flight to get to Dublin? Should I handle it myself or can tourradar help me? To know the nationality of the people who make this type of stay if possible.

This tour does not include Connemara or the Cliffs of Moher and will not pass by, it is conducted in English without French audio guides, allows flexibility to skip certain visits and choose your own meals when not included, and typically attracts travelers from English-speaking countries like the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. You have the option to do your own plan even during the tour, just be sure to coordinate with the travel director for guidance and to stay aligned with the itinerary. For meals not included, you have full flexibility to decide where and what to eat, with the tour covering 14 breakfasts and 6 dinners. The adventures we offer will not include international airfare, as travellers can join the trip from many different countries.

    • TrafalgarOperatorWritten February 2025

You have the flexibility to purchase airfare either through Trafalgar or on your own. Regarding transfers, we offer complimentary arrival and departure services, provided you meet the shuttle timing requirements. Arrival Transfers: Complimentary transfers from Dublin Airport (DUB) are available at 08:30, 11:00, and 13:00 on the first day of the tour. Departure Transfers: Complimentary transfers to Edinburgh Airport (EDI) are scheduled for 08:00 on the last day of the tour. About transportation options during your time on your own in Ireland and Scotland. In Ireland, Uber operates in a limited capacity, primarily offering services through licensed taxi drivers rather than the typical ride-sharing model. Lyft is not available in Ireland. In Scotland, Uber is available in major cities like Edinburgh and Glasgow, providing a convenient option for getting around. However, Lyft does not operate in Scotland. For both countries, traditional taxis and public transportation are reliable alternatives.

Tell me about your hotels. I have read reviews that some of them have been a distance away from local attractions making it harder for us to get too.

    • TrafalgarOperatorWritten January 2025

Our accommodations are subject to change, and the hotels we use may not be the same as those mentioned in previous reviews. We strive to select hotels that offer both comfort and convenience, ensuring they are well-situated for easy access to the attractions you wish to explore.
