    Asked on January 23rd, 2026

My flight only lands at 16:00 in the afternoon. Will it still possible to do the boat? Or can I do the boat on the last day?

    Flights / Transfers
    Tour Details
    • Arctic AdventuresOperatorWritten January 2026

The boat departs from the harbor between 9:00 - 10:00 PM, so you should be able to make it on Day 1. This will allow you enough time to check in at the hotel first and then proceed to the harbor, provided your flight arrives as scheduled and there are no delays.

      TravelerWritten January 2026

If I arrived 19.00 at iceand, do i able to catch the first day of tour to see aurora boat

    • Arctic AdventuresOperatorWritten January 2026

Keeping in mind your desired date of the tour, the glacier hike and ice cave tour will be included in the itinerary of the tour.

If you arrive to Iceland at around 19:00 PM, you will have to go through airport procedures, collect your luggage and catch the transfer to Reykjavik. Unfortunately, it would be impossible to make it on time for the Northern Lights by boat tour as the airport procedures and the trip from the airport to Reykjavik can take around 2 hours or even more.
In such cases, we suggest our customers to start their tour a day later, just to avoid any additional stress if there are any flight delays or cancellations and so that they could enjoy their desired adventure in full.

    Asked on January 13th, 2026

I wanted to see if it would be possible to add one more person to the group if they decide to do so? They are a group of 7, so they would then do 4 shared rooms.

    Accommodation
    Group size
    • Arctic AdventuresOperatorWritten January 2026

It is possible to add another person to the group, as long as we have availability. At the moment, we still have around 10 seats available on this tour. Keeping in mind that their tour is during the Christmas season, we recommend booking the additional seat as soon as possible.

  • L

    Linda

    Asked on September 3rd, 2025

If my mom and I both have a carry on backpack and checked piece of luggage would this be allowed on the tour.

    Transport
    • Arctic AdventuresOperatorWritten September 2025

Each customer is allowed to have a small backpack up to 5 kg and a suitcase up to 20 kg. In this case, as you do not exceed the luggage allowance, you can bring your luggage with you on the tour.

  • A

    Adrian

    Asked on August 31st, 2025

is it possible to have transfers from the airport to the hotel and vise versa? if so, what is that cost and if that is not an option would you be able to provide some insight on how to set this up? Also with lodging, do you all have to pair solo travelers together? If so, how can this be changed

    Accommodation
    Flights / Transfers
    • Arctic AdventuresOperatorWritten September 2025

We do not provide additional services like accommodation or airport transfers. We'd recommend booking additional accommodation in one of the hotels. Airport transfers can be easily booked at the recommended link.

I just want to confirm with this booking that accommodations are included for the 5d-- I know it mentions under "what's included" that accommodation for 4nights is, but how will I know where I will be staying in order to transfer from the airport to the hotel

    • Arctic AdventuresOperatorWritten September 2025

We only accommodate our customers for the duration of the tour. We send out the itinerary 7-14 days before the tour. Usually, we book Hotel Island Spa and Wellness hotel for the first night of the tour, however, the hotel may be changed due to availability issues.

    • Arctic AdventuresOperatorWritten February 2025

Our tours typically accommodate small groups up to 18 people to ensure a personalized experience. While the number of participants can vary, we often have solo travelers like yourself joining our adventures. The average age of our guests ranges from mid-20s to late 50s, fostering a diverse and engaging group dynamic.

    • Arctic AdventuresOperatorWritten February 2025

The glacier hike is an integral part of our tour itinerary and is included in the package at no additional cost, but it is only happening from 15th of April. In the winter months we visit Crystal Ice Cave (also included).

    • Arctic AdventuresOperatorWritten February 2025

We partner with a selection of comfortable hotels and guesthouses for our tours. Specific accommodations are confirmed closer to the departure date and are subject to availability. Rest assured, all selected accommodations meet our quality standards to ensure a pleasant stay.

    • Arctic AdventuresOperatorWritten February 2025

We do not provide accommodation before or after the tour. However, we recommend booking a hotel in Reykjavík for any extra nights. If you need suggestions, we'd be happy to provide recommendations.

    • Arctic AdventuresOperatorWritten February 2025

For solo travelers who opt for shared accommodations, we pair guests with roommates of the same gender to ensure comfort and privacy. If you prefer a private room, single supplements are available upon request for an additional fee.

    • Arctic AdventuresOperatorWritten February 2025

We recommend the Flybus service for transfers between Keflavík International Airport and Reykjavík. A one-way ticket costs approximately $30 USD, and the buses are scheduled to align with flight arrivals and departures for your convenience.
