What people love about Southwest USA Tours
- Hiking Utah's Mighty 5
Utah’s Big 5 My trip was absolutely amazing! We had Matt as our guide/CEO. He’d always make sure everything is going all right, never rushed us on hikes, was knowledgeable and would always tell stories about places we visited. It was raining the first two days, and we couldn’t make it to some trails, but it didn’t stop our guide to come up with some other plans. Since he knows the area well, we went on a couple more different hikes instead of the ones we couldn’t do. Cannot be more happier with the amount of trails we’ve done! Also, I was the only vegan in our group, so I was happy to know that there would always be something for me to eat, it was not a problem at all. The campgrounds were nice and clean, definitely better than I expected. I loved everything about the tour, thank you for making it such a great experience ?☀️

Rachel De Genaro -our guide was excellent. It is unbelievable how well she preformed all the roles of a guide, cook, shopper, driver and care taker to all of us. She was phenomenal! She was calm and organized. She as well as the people in our group made the trip more fun and enjoyable. Thumbs up!!!! G adventures though could have been a better communicator as to what to expect and prepare
- Hiking Utah's Mighty 5
Tour itinerary was well planned in order to see and hike Utah’s Big 5 National parks in 9 days. Our guide Rachel was excellent and did her best to manage 12 clients, drive, buy food, supervise food preparations and clean up, and break camp. However, given the amount of organization needed for camping, meals and driving required; and overseeing the often difficult and strenuous hikes, it would have been a better trip if there were 2 guides instead of only one. This trip went very well because we were an older group with many professionals with administration experience who pitched in to help the trip go smoothly. If a group on this tour does not blend as well as we did, don’t pitch in to do their share of work, and/or do not have experience working as a-team with administration experience, it may not go so well or more likely be a disaster. To avoid this, better to have 2 guides.

Demographics
Solo travelers click well with our hiking-focused Utah parks tours, particularly liking how small groups make it natural to bond with fellow explorers. It takes the stress off knowing guides handle the planning while they soak in the experience. Our customers love the social vibe at camp, cooking together and swapping stories by the fire. You can mix up the physical challenge - maybe wade through Zion's Narrows one day, then cruise through Monument Valley the next. Solo guests really value having friends to photograph Antelope Canyon's light beams with and also companions for evening walks along the Grand Canyon edge.
Couples go for our active-cultural Southwest mix. Some pick camping for the romance - picture watching Monument Valley's buttes turn golden at sunset right from your tent. Others prefer lodge stays, like historic Goulding's with its classic Western views. The most popular tours blend hikes like Angels Landing in Zion with visits to Native American trading posts and also quiet stargazing moments at Bryce Canyon. Couples mention how our guides read the room well, mixing group activities with chances to explore on their own.
Young adults dig our quick-paced Southwest routes that combine outdoor action with social time. Many start from Las Vegas, saying it's ideal for meeting their group before heading to the parks. They rave about Monument Valley camping where traditional Navajo music by the fire creates real moments. Tours mix guided slot canyon hikes with free time to explore San Diego's beaches or San Francisco's local spots. These travelers jump at the extra options - taking Grand Canyon helicopter rides, floating in hot air balloons over Phoenix and also experiencing Fremont Street's Vegas nightlife.
Our senior travelers value the coach-based Southwest tours for their smart mix of activity and comfort. Many choose two-night stops at key spots, letting them explore without rushing. They see all the highlights - Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon, Zion - while moving at their own speed. Our guides get praised for knowing the easier trails and prime photo locations. The cultural elements really connect, with stops at Spanish missions, Native American centers and also historic Route 66 towns along the journey.
Our Southwest family tours really shine in Monument Valley, where kids get right into Navajo culture through local guides sharing their heritage stories during open-air jeep rides. Parents tell us their children get excited finding ancient petroglyphs at Capitol Reef and joining ranger programs in the Grand Canyon. When families camp during Mighty 5 tours, they create lasting memories making s'mores and looking up at the stars in Bryce Canyon's gold-tier dark sky park. For those wanting extra comfort, lodge stays put you right next to those red rocks and also give you perfect spots for early morning wildlife watching.
