The 7-day Southwest Highlights tour was amazing! Alex and Amber were terrific guides that helped to give us options to make the most of our time at each tour stop. They also took care of setting up camp most days and prepared great meals throughout the trip. The trip was well organized, and we stopped often during the drive. I recommend this tour to people who want an active vacation, checking a number of National Parks off their list, but don't want to do all of the research needed to make it happen.

All the sights were worth seeing. although some of the guided special tours were not as worthwhile. Camping equipment was good, campground bathrooms varied. Amy Jones was our tour guide. Very well organized, great balance of leadership and solicitation of consensual needs, except for food, where more questions would have been helpful. Great sense of humor and personality. Out of line with me on two occasions (not bad for a week), but otherwise very good rapport and made an experience I had concerns about pleasant. She genuinely cared for her crew and visa versa. Every member of our group was worth meeting.

I have an overactive bladder and at night time I may need to go use the bathroom three or four times. Being out in the wilderness may not work depending where the bathrooms are located. I'd like to learn how hotel option works and how close to the restrooms would I be?

    • Bindlestiff ToursOperatorWritten December 2025

The hotel option for one person is $3525. For the camping- campgrounds are not in the wilderness they are at full service campgrounds so the toilet is never more than a few meters. We can often accommodate a solo tent also if that reassures you- simply email us directly once booked and we will add that note- there is no extra fee if we are able to accommodate the solo tent for you.
