The itinerary had to be adjusted due to weather and closures due to the government shut down. The guides offered substitutions on the fly; planning ahead for adjustments would have been preferable. Also, there were so many changes to departure times, it was hard to keep track. A group text would have been better. The Doubletree room accommodations were acceptable; however, there were long lines for the elevators and the staff were generally rude. I would prefer small group tours and more input from local guides at each of our stops.Show more
