It is compulsory to show a valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate if you are travelling to Botswana from a Yellow Fever endemic country, or have recently travelled to a Yellow Fever endemic country (with entry stamps in your passport), and Brazil is included in the list of the Yellow Fever endemic countries We advise all travelers to Botswana who are coming from one of the above countries, or who have visited them in the last 10 years, to be prepared with a Yellow Fever vaccination certificate or letter from your doctor with proof of vaccination. Yellow Fever inoculations need to be administered at least 10 days prior to your entry into the country. Border officials in Botswana have been strictly enforcing these requirements. Travelers without the correct documentation run the risk of being denied entry, and will not be able to continue with the tour.

This tour was great for covering Botswana in a short period of time. Taffy our CEO was fantastic, he was very informative and ensured that everyone was getting the most of of their trip. HIs sense of homour made the tour even more enjoyable. Peter the driver also kept the coach very clean and ensured everything ran smoothly. I was aware that in wet season you are less likely to see the big 5 in Chobe National Park and the in Delta but we were still able to see a great number of elephants, hippos and monkeys. I am not sure how you would be able to change the tour but I would say that it is preferable to spend more time in the safari parks as opposed to traveling, we did not stay in the same lodge/hotel for more than 1 night. Also, for me traveling for the drop off day in Windhoek was very long, but also very expensive as it cost me over $100 dollars for a visa in a country that I was only going to spend one day (maybe better to end the tour in Botswana?). But other than this it was hugely enjoyable. Botswana is a country I would recommend to my friends.Show more

Also, if the classic trip booked I believe it's best if the company manages to find a way to provide sleeping bags for renting for the 1 night needed. The tour is long and it's pointless to bring it for 1 night. Our tour guide was helpful and cooked for us however didn't really provide us with information for the different locations, history or nature wiseShow more

He is also very entertaining! And Alvin great too. I feel very lucky to have had them leading us.Marvellous how much we did especially in Chobe . Elephant Sands was one of many highlights. And I liked all the other places lots except Trailblazers Ghanzi; bushmenwalk and show great but we did not get the usual welcome like the others or made to feel welcome. They did not turn on generator until we got there so beers and shower cold. Would not start dinner until everyone there even though just after walk. Rooms and staff very ‘tired ‘ and not bothered.Show more
