Reply from: Responsible Travel South AmericaHi Joy, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry for the confusion regarding the internal flights. While these flights are noted as not included in the trip price and mentioned in the detailed itinerary, we completely understand how easy it can be to miss this information, and we regret any stress this may have caused. Your feedback truly means a lot to my team and me, and I’m very happy to hear that you enjoyed your journey through Chile and Argentina. Hoping to see you again soon! :) All the best, PamelaShow more - JJackMarch 13th, 2025Overall it was an extremely well organised tour and communication with torradar staff was excellent. What our customers ask about this tour

Asked on November 19th, 2025With regards to air travel within the 11-day Patagonia adventure, is the customer responsible for booking the airfare, or is that something you can assist us with? For example the trip from Santiago to Punta Arenas, and from El Calafate to Buenos Aires. Or are we fully responsible for these airline transfers withing the 11-day trip? What is the typical price range for these air transfers, ie SCL to PUQ, and from FTE to EZE?
Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written November 2025Regarding the domestic flights. My personal recommendation is to book directly with LATAM; you should book them according to the itinerary. Of course with these flights, we will organize the corresponding included pick-ups. Also, the price of the flights depends on the season. Unfortunately, I cannot give you a tentative price because this is variable.

Traveler•Written November 2025We are currently looking at making the trip some time in early or mid April. It also looks like there may be certain days of the week in April, (Wednesdays) that LATAM does not have any flights from FTE to EZE. I could be mistaken, but thought I should ask.
Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written November 2025From Calafate to Buenos Aires, you can check the flight on Aerolineas Argentinas; the prices are around $100 at the moment, so you can search these flights here and see if it works for your trip.

Asked on October 6th, 2025I want to know about flights (coming from LAX). If I depart from LAX on 11/5 does not mean flying out on 11/5 and arrive on 11/6? Will pick up from the airport be included? I want to extend stays in Iguazu Falls and Rio de Janeiro. Should I coordinate that after this tour is complete and fly out to Iguazu falls from Buenos Aires?
Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written October 2025The pick-up at the airport is included. As soon as you have your exact dates of flights, please share them with me so I can check on the availability of the hotels.

Traveler•Written October 2025Is this a small group? Will we start with the same group from start to end? I'll be traveling with an older parent, this is not too strenuous right besides the bus ride and the transits in between cities?
Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written October 2025You will have shared and private activities where you will be traveling with different people who will be join this trip most of the time. The transportation for your parent will be enough comfortable; however the longest trip by bus (with bathroom) is from Puerto Natales to Calafate, it will take around 6 hours.

Traveler•Written September 2025What is the weather like around that time in the Iguazu National Park? and Can I pay for everything with credit card?
Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written September 2025From Puerto Iguazu you need to do a stop in Buenos Aires on your way to Denver or fliying from Foz de Iguazu in Brazil to Rio. The weather in Iguazu Falls in February is like a temperature of 25/30°C but also rainy which give to the Falls more more strenght.

Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written October 2025On February 9, you can fly at the time you want; there is no tour on this day, just your transfer to the airport. The Great Adventure tour takes around 8 hours: [detailed tour description]
Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written October 2025This tour is the unique one with navigation, and its price per person is 130$. If you prefer a shorter option, it will be accompanied by a private guide and exclude navigation at $185 per person (plus entry fees).

Asked on October 2nd, 2024Is the guide along for the whole tour or is there a new local guide in each location? Also, it says sharing a multi bed room. Does this mean we don't have a private hotel room at each place?
Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written October 2024Each day you will have different guides and drivers for each tour or transfer. and for the hotels, you will have a private room and bathroom every night we work with 3-star hotels, and we can upgrade to 4 stars for an extra cost.

Traveler•Written October 2024You say that there will be different guides and drivers for each tour. I guess my real question is whether we would be travelling with a small group of people throughout the tour or really doing it all by ourselves?
Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written October 2024All the tours will have different travelers going with you. So from one place to another you won't have the same groups.
