Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Male
A driver meets you at Male International Airport and takes you to your guesthouse on Hulhumale, which is about 15 minutes from the airport. Once you drop your bags, the public beach is right across the street if you want to walk over and get your feet wet. Your guide can also take you to a local cafe for beachside coffee if you're interested in that. It's a nice way to ease into island life and see how locals spend their mornings.

Landmarks Male International Airport Hulhumale Beach - Day 2
Mathiveri Island, North Ari Atoll
You'll take a public speedboat from Hulhumale to Mathiveri in North Ari Atoll. After lunch, your guide runs through safety and gets you into the water for your first snorkel, pointing out fish and other marine life along the reefs. In the late afternoon, wander around the island and try hedika (a traditional snack) at a cafe. There's also a talk about the Manta Trust before you head back out on the water for an afternoon snorkel where you might see manta rays, turtles, or reef sharks.

Landmarks Mathiveri Island North Ari Atoll Reef - Day 3
Mathiveri Island
This morning your guide takes you snorkeling at coral reefs packed with fish, and you'll keep an eye out for turtles, sharks, and manta rays. The afternoon is open for you to do your own thing. There's an option to head to Mathiveri Finolhu, an uninhabited island with white sand beaches if you want to explore. After dinner, your guide talks about marine conservation efforts and the work of organizations protecting the reefs and beaches.

Landmarks Mathiveri Finolhu - Day 4
Ukulhas Island
A boat takes you to Ukulhas, where your guide walks you around the island and explains Maldivian fishing traditions and the island's conservation work. You'll sit in on a presentation about the Olive Ridley project and learn what to expect if you encounter turtles. Later in the day, you snorkel the house reef right from the beach with your guide, watching for turtles. Bring your underwater camera since you'll likely get some good shots.

Landmarks Ukulhas Island - Day 5
Ukulhas Island
You set your own schedule today. Go diving, snorkeling, or try water sports if you want action, or take it easy with a picnic lunch on a nearby sandbank or island. Your guide can take you out for house reef snorkeling, or if you're willing to wake early, you can book a full-day whale shark trip to South Ari Atoll. Later on, there's an optional sunset kayaking or SUP tour through the lagoon if that appeals to you.

Landmarks South Ari Atoll - Day 6
Rasdhoo Island
You head by boat to Rasdhoo for your last island stop. Your first snorkel takes you to nearby reefs where large schools of reef fish, batfish, tuna, and parrot fish swim around. Rasdhoo is known for black and white tip reef sharks, and you might have close encounters with them. The afternoon gives you time to walk the island with your guide, sit at a local cafe, or just relax by the water. As the sun sets, you'll go back out by boat to look for dolphins, and your crew will tell you about different species and how they behave.

- Day 7
Rasdhoo Island
After breakfast, your guide leads two final snorkeling trips to spots that really show off the Maldives' marine life. The afternoon is yours to either lie on the beach or join a beach cleanup if you want to help the community. If you do the cleanup, you get fresh Kurumba (coconut water) and a swim in the ocean to refresh yourself afterward.

Departure
An early breakfast gets you ready before you head to the dock for the public speedboat back to Male and your international flight home.
