- Day 1
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your safari begins with an 8AM pickup from your hotel in Arusha. The drive to Tarangire National Park takes about 3 hours covering 150km, and once you arrive you'll start exploring right away. The first game drive takes you through landscapes dotted with massive Baobab trees where you'll likely see elephants, giraffes, lions, antelopes, and zebras. There's a picnic lunch break included during the drive. By evening you'll head back to camp for dinner and settle in for the night.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you'll travel to Serengeti National Park across endless grasslands. The park is home to the Big 5 and has Africa's greatest concentration of plains game. Today's focus is the Seronera area, a rich wildlife habitat near the Seronera River where many lion prides roam. The full-day game drive includes a picnic lunch, and you'll end the day with dinner at your accommodation before resting up.

Landmarks Serengeti National Park Seronera River - Day 3
Serengeti Central to Northern Region
Starting at 8AM after breakfast, you'll explore Serengeti's central portion and head northward toward the Kogatende region. The landscape shifts from flat grasslands to hilly, broken terrain as you travel. Throughout the day you'll spot zebras, topi, gazelles, buffaloes, leopards, and lions. A picnic lunch comes during the drive, and you'll have a few hours to spend by the Mara River before heading back for dinner.

Mara River Crossing
After breakfast at 8AM, you'll explore the northern Serengeti where the Great Migration happens mid-June to September. If you're there during migration season, you might witness dramatic river crossings at the Mara River with wildebeest, crocodiles, and predators all in action. The route may also include Lobo Valley. A full-day game drive with picnic lunch wraps up with dinner and rest at your accommodation.

Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti (Seronera)
Starting at 8AM with a hearty breakfast, you'll head south toward central Serengeti on a 4-hour drive with some wildlife viewing along the way. The route takes you through hill country, past the Lobo area, and through woodlands before reaching Seronera, one of the park's richest habitats. Lion prides thrive here year-round, making for great viewing opportunities. A picnic lunch comes during the drive, followed by dinner and rest.

Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Your day starts at 9AM with a half-day game drive in Serengeti after breakfast. Then you'll head toward the Ngorongoro Crater rim on a 75km drive taking about 2.5 hours with mild game viewing along the way. A picnic lunch is included during the drive. Ngorongoro is one of Africa's most striking geological formations and a wilderness destination. After dinner and settling in at your accommodation, get good rest because tomorrow you'll descend into this massive crater.

Landmarks Ngorongoro Crater Serengeti National Park - Day 7
Ngorongoro Crater and Return to Arusha
An early 6:30AM start after a quick breakfast gets you down into the crater floor for a 5-hour game drive. You'll see plenty of elephants, buffalo, Black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions on the 260 sq km floor. Keep your camera ready throughout. After a picnic lunch by the Hippo Pool, you'll ascend back to the top and make the final 4-hour drive to Arusha, arriving by 6PM. Your safari adventure ends here.
