Itinerary
- Day 1
Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha
You'll land at Kilimanjaro Airport where your driver meets you at arrivals. The drive to Green Mountain View Lodge or a similar property takes you to the outskirts of Arusha, giving you time to settle in and get your bearings before the safari begins.
Landmarks Kilimanjaro Airport - Day 2
Lake Manyara National Park
Head out to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive through this diverse ecosystem. You'll look for tree-climbing lions, buffalo, giraffes, hippos, and elephants, along with various monkey species. Meals are included throughout the day, and a guided game drive gets you oriented to the landscape and wildlife.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
The drive to Serengeti National Park takes most of the morning. You can stop at a Maasai village to learn about local culture, or visit Olduvai Gorge Museum if you're interested in human origins. A game drive happens en route to your camp at Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Camp, where you'll have all meals included.

- Day 4
Serengeti National Park
You'll spend the entire day in Serengeti with multiple game drives. Depending on the season, you might see the Great Wildebeest Migration and massive herds of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope. Look for lions and cheetahs around scattered kopjes. The landscape shifts between open grasslands, acacia savanna, and woodland as you drive.

- Day 5
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After a morning game drive in Serengeti, you'll transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and check into Ngorongoro Wild Camp. Later in the afternoon, another game drive lets you spot wildebeest herds, elephants, and abundant birdlife across the reserve.

- Day 6
Ndutu Area
You have a full day exploring the Ndutu area with game drives through swamps, woodland, soda lakes, and the famous Serengeti short grass plains. During calving season, massive herds of wildebeest and zebras move through, and predator viewing is excellent. You'll stay at Ngorongoro Wild Camp with all meals provided.

Landmarks Ndutu Area - Day 7
Ngorongoro Crater
You'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for game driving in this natural wonder. The crater holds roughly 20,000 large animals, so spotting black rhinos, lions, cheetahs, elands, zebras, and gazelles is likely. Flamingos gather at Makat Soda Lake. After exploring, you return to the lodge for the night.

Landmarks Ngorongoro Crater Makat Soda Lake - Day 8
Ngorongoro to Tarangire National Park and Arusha
Following breakfast, you'll drive about 1.5 hours to Tarangire National Park. During the dry season, massive herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, elands, and Oryx congregate here. Late in the evening, you head back to Green Mountain View Lodge or a similar bed and breakfast in Arusha to wrap up the safari.
