You are only booking a seat on a 4x4 vehicle. We had 2 different guides/drivers in the 4 days. We were in a vehicle with other people who had booked with different companies. As there was multiple companies all using the same vehicle there was multiple lodge pick ups. This caused the start and end drop offs to take quite a while. Accommodation was good, packed lunches were good. The first guide/driver was ok. The second guide/driver "smart" was amazing! He did everything he could so we could see as much as possible.Show more

I would have liked a little more comfort in the accommodation, but for 3 nights it was perfectly ok. It was very kind of Gracepatt to allow me to spontaneously change my original 4-day Masai Mara safari to 3 days plus 1 day Lake Nakuru! Thanks again!!! To criticise: The two guides/driver (Izack & Francis) could have provided more information about the itinerary. For example, when & where we would have lunch/dinner. In addition, the timing should have been better adapted to the tourists. We had breakfast twice very early (06:00/06:30) & then lunch again at 14:00/14:30. 8 hours between breakfast and lunch is a very long time for Europeans. I can recommend Gracepatt & would book with them again anytime.Show more

  I recommended this particular tour because it's timed and routed specifically to maximize your chances of witnessing the Great Migration and river crossings. Unlike some of our other tours that are more general or focused on other regions, this one is designed around wildlife movements in the Serengeti (or Maasai Mara, depending on the itinerary). It also balances comfort, location, and value well — ideal if your priority is an authentic migration experience without compromising on quality. The peak months to witness river crossings at the Mara River are typically mid-July through late September. While wildlife is unpredictable, your best chances lie within this window, especially in August.

  Thank you for your message. I have looked at the itinerary & although Days 2 & 3 mention the Great Migration, it also refers to game viewings which I think will mean that we will be somewhere else for the game drives, not able to watch the Great Migration/River Crossing? What I am actually looking for is, since I've already done game drives before, is to be exactly at locations where we can watch the movement of hundreds/thousands of animals then follow them on to the next location or to the River Crossing. Is this possible? With dates, do you already have scheduled dates for this tour?
