I am considering a Sri Lanka holiday from 08 to 16 July. I however read that July is the monsoon season with lots of rain. I just want to have your advise on whether these dates are a good time to visit.

There are a number of issues:- - I specifically booked a group tour for the group social - being the only guest was an absolute disaster. The early hotels were a bit remote and almost empty too. - single Premium to avoid room shares was an excessive proportion and much higher that actual costs. Plus this was a total waste as I was the only person anyway - this amount should be refunded. - the driver was good but his English wasn’t quite good enough, making communication challenging. For example he replied ‘yes’ to many open questions seeking information. - the itinerary handed to me on pick up and followed all week made it clear the tour ended during day 6. So I privately booked a hotel for that night. It turns out I had already paid for another hotel but that was not explained. That should be refunded too. All in all, the driver and tour were ok but these issues need sorting/refunding.Show more

Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 8th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 8th, 2026, a minimum payment of 60% is required to confirm your booking with Swastik India Journeys. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Swastik India Journeys will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
