- Day 1
Nairobi to Lake Nakuru
You'll get picked up from your Nairobi hotel or airport to start the safari. The drive takes you to Lake Nakuru National Park with a stop at the Great Rift Valley Escarpment where you'll learn how the valley formed and take in the views. After arriving at your lodge in time for lunch, you can relax before heading out on an afternoon game drive that runs until sunset. During this drive you'll have chances to see flamingos, tree-climbing lions, and black and white rhinos.

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha
Rise early to watch the sunrise from the Aberdare hills while having a hot buffet breakfast. You'll check out and drive toward Lake Naivasha with game viewing happening along the way. Arriving at your lodge for lunch and check-in, you'll have the afternoon to take a relaxing walk around the property and soak in the quiet. Optional activities include a boat ride and a visit to Crescent Island if you'd like something more active.

Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara
After an early breakfast you're heading to Masai Mara National Reserve, driving through the Great Rift Valley floor with views of Mount Longonot and passing through Narok town. You'll arrive at your camp in time for lunch and a chance to refresh. Your first afternoon game drive starts at 3 PM where you and your driver-guide will track various animal species and birds until sunset.

Masai Mara
You've got a full day in the Masai Mara National Reserve with a packed picnic lunch provided. The 1,510 km2 of open savannah is where you'll spot giraffes, elephants, zebras, lions, buffalo, and hippos. If you're visiting during July and August, there's a chance you'll see the Great Migration when millions of wildebeest move north from the Serengeti. You'll return to your lodge by evening for dinner.

Masai Mara to Serengeti
After breakfast you're leaving Masai Mara and heading toward the Isebania border between Kenya and Tanzania. You'll arrive in time for a hot lunch and handle border clearance. Your Kenyan guide passes you over to your Tanzanian guide who'll continue with you from here. Later in the afternoon you depart for Serengeti National Park with a game drive on the way to your lodge.

Landmarks Serengeti National Park - Day 6
Serengeti
Following breakfast you're doing a full-day game drive through Serengeti National Park with a packed lunch. The endless plains offer views of the landscape and over 500 recorded bird species. This is where you'll find the big seven including lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, cheetah, rhino, and African hunting dog. The area has the highest concentration of large mammals on the planet with roughly 2,500 lions alone.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Your final breakfast at Serengeti happens before you check out and head to Ngorongoro Crater. You'll arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and can refresh. During the afternoon you'll explore the diverse landscapes that range from dense mountain forests to grasslands and swamps. Large herds of zebras, wildebeests, and gazelles roam here, and you have chances to see the big five including the rare black rhino.

Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara National Park

In the afternoon, you'll head out on a game drive to see what's around the area. After that wraps up, you'll get dinner back at the lodge and settle in for the night.

Lake Manyara to Tarangire
After an early breakfast you're heading to Tarangire National Park and arriving in time for lunch. Your afternoon game drive lets you explore the park's diverse landscape with its huge baobab trees, particularly impressive in the northeastern sector. You'll have chances to see one of the largest elephant populations in northern Tanzania along with lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Amboseli
You wake at 6:30 AM for breakfast before setting out for a full-day game drive with Kilimanjaro as your backdrop. A picnic lunch gets served at a viewpoint during the day. You'll explore Amboseli's landscape looking for big cats and large herds of African elephants, with good chances to see Kilimanjaro's peak during sunrise and sunset. Returning to your lodge in the late afternoon leaves time for dinner.
