AS I look at your site, I see that you have Zanzibar tours: can we hook that up with the Tanzania safari? Do we need a guide to stay longer in Zanzibar? WE have 3 weeks to travel/ tour from Dec 30 -Jan 21, 2023. We would like to do a northern Tanzania migration tour/ go to the Gorilla trekking fora day or two and then have a week or so at the beach> What else do you recommend? We are from Alaska and we like to hike. We also don't want to spend $1000/ day: our budget is closer to $200/ day.

What is the accommodation? We must have en suite bathroom.

The accommodation is at the campsite but it's has all the basic facilities ie bathroom with hot shower, but we can upgrade from camping to lodge/hotel upon on request for small additional cost

We just returned from 6 days migration safari bliss with Philemoni as our guide and driver. He was so informative and led us to see all of the big 5 and much more! We visited 4 amazing parks; Tarangire, Ngorongoro , Serengeti & Lake Manyara and we saw so many animals in each and the scenery was so diverse and stunningly beautiful. The people were so kind everywhere we stayed; Katikati tented lodge, Hill top tree lodge, Accacia farm lodge & Rhino lodge - all very nice and different. The food was excellent in each location. We had such an amazing time and would recommend Great Lake Expedition and especially Philemon as guide! Tanzania is gorgeous!Show more

  During the safari, we will only use jeep not buses, so for the day ,time spent on jeep its will be 5-7 hrs. Yes you can add Zanzibar holiday with this safari.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before October 10th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 10th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Great Lake Expedition. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
