This trip is done in private 7-seat 4x4 safari vehicles, with sliding windows and a large pop-up roofs. I have uploaded a picture that will give you an idea on the transport for the tour.

No night safaris on our trip but the maximum group size is 6 for this tour.

Will be booking with my 2 sisters, but what are sleeping accommodations for myself as solo traveler?

All National Geographic Journeys are based on double occupancy meaning 2 people per room. If you are travelling as a party of 3, you will need to select a member of your party to either upgrade to the optional My Own Room supplement OR share with another solo traveller of the same gender in the group. For the May 21, 2023 departure, you can anticipate a rate of approximately $8,798 USD for the single room.

How long are the games drives once inside the parks and how many drives per day in each location. Do not including the driving time it takes to get to each location as I don't consider driving time a game drive.

Some days have 1 safari drive and other days have 2. The drives are around 2 hrs each.

This tour exceeded all of my expectations in every way. We saw an abundance of wildlife and the experience was nothing short of astounding. The accommodations and food were also extremely good. While the partnership between Tour Radar and National Geographic was good, it was sometimes confusing as to who to contact for certain issues. Our Tour Guide, Rose was tremendous. Extremely knowledgeable, personable, organized: she managed to blend all of the knowledge of the various animals and peoples beautifully.
