We didn't give it a 5 because there was a lot of driving and the accommodation on one of the nightsdid not match the style of accommodation described on the itinerary. The itinerary could be improved if you could fly into the delta on the end of the scenic flight (one way flight). The day driving from Maun to the delta was really really long and on very uncomfortable roads. Our driver did an amazing job on that drive but the trip would have been far more enjoyable if we could fly in to the delta!Show more

Although the guides and overall “highlights” of Botswana were wonderful, itinerary changes required due to weather/water conditions in the Okavango Delta were not properly managed by Intrepid. Our driver struggled with an inappropriate vehicle for hundreds of additional kilometers of driving on very poor roads to reach our alternative (stellar) destination at Jumbo Junction. Further disruptions were created by ferry failures — clearly out of Intrepid’s control. In retrospect, it seems that our small group could have been better transported either with a proper 4-wheel vehicle suitable to the roads OR by boat.Show more

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
