Elli has loved Elephants since she was small and this was her "Dream Trip". We were NOT disappointed! The tour is ALL it says it is and SO much more. The island of Sri Lanka is magical! This country is very diverse in heritage, culture, geography, plant and animal life ... each day was an exciting new adventure! The people of Sri Lanka are so kind and hospitable, they made our trip personal. Our guide, Chandonna was extremely knowledgeable about everything and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was good. We were on a private tour with Chandonna, he always made sure we felt safe. The accommodations were very good with the exception of one hotel, but two other hotels were exceptional! We highly recommended this Tour!
Elephants of Sri Lanka - 15 DaysKwesa tours took my family of 4 to Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti in a 4x4 Landcruiser with an open roof and we got more than we had imagined that a safari would be. To start with our guide John delivered an exceptional safari. We managed to see all the big 5 plus other little and big animals. There were plenty of different birds to see too. We appreciate the advice we got from Teacher on the choice of accommodations in Ngorongoro and serengeti because they were so luxurios serving a wide array of dishes, great continental breakfast. The tents were spacious and comfortable and it was nice to get a family tent in Serengeti where we all fitted. We had such a wonderful time that we would wish to return soon.

What is the best time of year to go on an elephant safari tour?
