Is abseiling down Table Mountain included in the itinerary? What is the average age of tourists on this tour?

Abseiling from Table Mountain isn't included in the itinerary, but you do have some free time in Cape Town on Day 2 after visiting Table Mountain. You may be able abseil down instead of taking the cable car, but this would need to be arranged independently. Once a booking is in place, we can check with our local office to see if this would be possible with the timing of the day. If it is, you'd then be able to book the abseiling excursion directly with the operator. In terms of the age range, this trip is part of our Classic travel style, which means it can vary quite a lot depending on the departure date. That said, we often see a good mix of travellers, with many solo female travellers in their 30s and 40s. If you have a specific departure date in mind, we can check the current demographics of that group and give you a better idea of who is already booked.

Do you have any add on tours after this one ends? I am thinking of about 5 extra days in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, and Botswana. I just want to be on the water and to witness Victoria Falls.

We do not have anything as short as 5 days, however I highly recommend the following: Our 8 Day tour 'Johannesburg to Victoria Falls Overland Safari & Participation Camping' would be perfect as it starts in Johannesburg and then travels north to Victoria Falls. Alternatively, our 7 Day tour 'Zimbabwe & Botswana Safari: Victoria Falls & The Big Five' would allow you to see Chobe National Park as well as Victoria Falls.

The maximum group size on the 'Best of South Arica' tour is 18 people. Currently on the September 25th date there are 8 spaces still open.

1. The length of times to each new destination is somewhat unclear. Day 4 = is it an 8 hour trip from Johannesberg to Kruger? or a 1.5 hour trip? Day 6 = is it a 10 hour drive? or a 1 hour drive? Day 9 = is it 5 hours from Kruger to Johannesberg or 1 hour? 2. Are there places to eat on the days that do not include lunches or dinners? 3. What vaccines are mandatory coming from the USA? 4. Is Travel Insurance mandatory? 5. I believe I will be booking a one-way flight from USA to Cape Town. Departing one way home to USA from Johannesberg? 6. What kind of attire do you recommend wearing for this tour? 7. Booking a tour in Sept/Oct is 5-6 months away. Would I be able to get all expenses reimbursed if I needed to cancel this trip?

On day 4, it's 7-8 hours journey to Kruger National park, this includes breaks and lunch stop along the way. Day 6 is a full day Safari drive in Kruger National Park, on this day there is no drive to another area. Day 9 is 4h-5h30m drive to Johannesburg. When meals are not included, there are always stops, places to eat, you will pay for what you order. There are no mandatory vaccinations. Travel Insurance is Mandatory to travel with us. You can book a multi city round trip, arriving in Cape town and departing from Johannesburg. Clothing is best to wear clothes for safaris 'comfortable, neutral-colored, and breathable clothing like khaki, olive, tan, or brown'. The 20% deposit required is non refundable, in case of cancellation, it becomes lifetime deposit which you can use towards a future departure or another trip.

  Yes that's right, the group will take the cable car up and down the mountain. If you wanted to stay longer & abseil down, you would need to organise this independently, and also to get your way back to the hotel.
