Is park fees included and how many KM are we covering in total?

The park fees are covered by the Tour Price and the Adventure Pass. The Adventure Pass is a local cash payment, paid in USD cash to the Tour Leader on Day 1.

PAX would like to know what time the tour will end on May 23rd as PAX would like to book flights according that. Could you also clarify if you do still have availability for this tour.

The tour usually ends in the late afternoon/early evening on Day 11. We do suggest clients plan to fly out the following day. However if the client books a flight that departs after 20h15 on Day 11, then they can catch a taxi from the Ferry Port upon arrival back to Dar es Salaam and head directly to the airport.

Is there a solo room option?

Single supplements are not applicable on our Adventure-style tours. Solo travellers will share a 2-man canvas tent (Camping Option) or a twin-bed room (Accommodated Option) with a fellow solo traveller of the same gender.

Can I join this tour?

Yes you can indeed join the tour. Adventure tours are participatory in nature, i.e. all passengers help with setting camp, cooking and cleaning. If that is suitable for you then we would love to have you on tour with us.

Every Acacia Overland tour has an Adventure Pass which is paid to your tour leader in Africa at the beginning of the tour (or pre-paid by arrangement prior to your tour). Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 17th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 17th, 2026, a minimum payment of $300 is required to confirm your booking with Acacia Adventure Holidays. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 61 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Acacia Adventure Holidays will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Acacia Adventure Holidays" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
