Accommodated vs. camping, how much would we miss on the accommodate tour? Would we be able to see tour the cities on the camping tour?

Our camping and accommodated clients travel together in the same vehicle and overnight at the same campsites. The accommodated clients will spend the nights in rooms, chalets and/or permanent tents and join the group in the morning for breakfast. All activities included in the tour will be done as a group and you will be accompanied by the Acacia tour leader.

The Adventure Pass doesn't exactly make sense. Can you please clarify how this extra price is not allotted for and where this money is going? Tour highlights are listed as inclusions in the price so I don't understand how you can ask for more money on an item that is included in the tour price.

The Adventure Pass is paid directly to your tour leader on the first day of the tour, in US Dollars, and on this tour it covers: * Food and Camping * Zanzibar Ferry & Accommodation * Victoria Falls Visit * Hwange National Park * Kruger National Park * Shangaan Cultural Evening The Adventure Pass system is best for Africa: nothing is lost on bank charges or currency fluctuations. The amount is clearly set out in the brochure. You pay the local payment in Africa and every cent of it is spent in Africa, where it’s needed. The Adventure Pass system option gives you the flexibility to save the money right up until the time you leave for Africa. No need to pre-pay eight weeks beforehand (the usual rule for pre-paid items) - and because of this, if you did have to cancel your tour for any reason the local payment is not affected by cancellation fees. Also, the activities and excursions you do are paid at the lowest possible price because the money is paid direct to the service providers at the time they deliver. You pay the local price not one inflated for international exchanges or bank fees.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 7th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 7th, 2026, a minimum payment of $300 is required to confirm your booking with Acacia Adventure Holidays. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 61 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Acacia Adventure Holidays will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
