What people love about 4-week Africa tours
- Southern Africa Overland: Cape Town, Falls & Kruger
Most amazing experience, trip of a life time! I cannot highly recommend this tour enough! Book it book it book it! Highlights: Fish River Canyon - Stunning at sunset. Make sure your camera does panorama! Sossusvlei Dunes - Make sure EVERYONE gets on the truck in time. We almost missed the sunrise and when you hit that dune, RUN up there to get the best spot! Swakopmund - Skydiving,i f you have ever wanted to do it, do it here! It's amazing and cheap. Also, you must do the sand boarding. Some of our group were 'umming and 'ahhring about it, didn't do it and totally regretted it. Estosha - This was just like a David Attenborough documentary. Your camp is near a watering hole which is floodlit, so you can see the animals all night. We camped out with our sleeping bags and we saw elephants, giraffe, lions, rhinos and zebras all together at this hole. It was such an incredible experience! Botswana - more elephants than humans it seemed. Camping and swimming in the Okavango delta will be a memory I will not forget in a hurry. Make sure you do the sunrise game drive in Chobe. We saw our only leopard of the trip, they are harder to see than you think. The sunset cruise on Chobe was also incredible. Zimbabwe - walking with the endangered rhino, absolutely worth the long drives to reach. Our guides were amazing, the food was awesome. Don't hesitate to book with G adventures, I loved it and I am sure you will too :)
