The 20-day tour met and exceeded my expectations. The tour was on the leisure side which gave me the time to rest before hopping on to another safaris and included activities. For those who were more active, option tours were there for them. The tour included 6 safaris and 2 bush walks. By second day of safaris, we have spotted the BIG FIVE! The helicopter rides for Victoria Falls and Okavango Delta were awesome! Apart from safaris, I enjoyed the lodges and food provided. Met many new friends from all over the globe. It certainly was a journey and experience of a lifetime!Show more

  The Cape Town to Johannesburg Overland Safari tour is primarily a participation camping style trip, meaning you will be camping most nights, with some basic hotels/hostel stays at the beginning and end of the tour. Accommodation upgrades (such as all hotels/lodges) are not available as part of this itinerary, as the trip is designed around the overland and outdoor experience.

For tours departing after November 3rd, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
