This 10-day trip through Botswana was better than expected. Now have lots more photographs of animals in the wild than I'd expected to get. To see such a large group of hippos in the water and to have lions walk by casually were much more than I'd seen in Kruger Park. Some of the travel by road was taking a lot of time and accommodation on the houseboat was a bit cramped. But in the end that was part of the fun as a way of meeting up with others who felt the same way.
Botswana AdventureWe thoroughly enjoyed our Acacia 19 day tour from Cape Town to Victoria Falls. The scenary was great and we managed to see a huge selection of animals. The tour went like clock-work due to the skills of our driver Harmony and guide/cook Joe. Our meals were tasty and adequate. The accomodation was fine. We made good friends with many of other people on the tour. We enjoyed the included and optional experiences.
