Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha
Your guide meets you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and drives you to Mount Meru Hotel in Arusha. You'll have dinner there and spend the night to rest up after your flight.

Landmarks Kilimanjaro International Airport - Day 2
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you head to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game drives. You'll see herds of elephants, tree-climbing lions, and baobab trees throughout the park. The Tarangire River runs year-round here, which keeps wildlife coming back even during dry seasons. By evening you're back at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Ndutu
You travel to the Ndutu area in the Ngorongoro conservation area after breakfast. The afternoon game drive takes you through short-grass plains where thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and elephants roam along with other resident animals. You return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

- Day 4
Ndutu with Hot Air Balloon Safari
A full day of game driving through swamps, woodlands, soda lakes, and the Serengeti short-grass plains with herds of wildebeest and zebras all around. If you choose the optional hot air balloon safari, you'll have an early pickup around 5 to 5:30 AM, fly for about an hour at roughly 1,000 feet, then have champagne and breakfast under an acacia tree. You're back at your lodge by evening for dinner and overnight.

Ndutu to Central Serengeti
You start with a morning game drive around Ndutu, then head north and west into the heart of the Serengeti. From there you travel to the Central Serengeti region where wildlife is abundant and big cats are common across the acacia-studded savanna. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

- Day 6
Central Serengeti
You spend the full day in Serengeti National Park. After breakfast there's a morning game drive to take in the scenery and spot wildlife. Following a picnic lunch, the afternoon game drive continues as you search for lions, leopards, elephants, zebras, cheetahs, and antelope throughout the park. Back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro
The morning game drive starts at 8 AM with your driver-guide exploring Serengeti wildlife. After a picnic lunch, you drive eastward toward Ngorongoro Crater. You'll settle into your lodge as dinner gets prepared.

Landmarks Ngorongoro Crater - Day 8
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
You descend into Ngorongoro Crater to explore the game-rich prairies surrounded by nearly 2,000-foot crater walls. This UNESCO World Heritage Site gives you a real chance to see the Big Five in one day if you're lucky. Lunch happens right there in the crater. After a short afternoon game drive, you head back up the crater walls and drive to Arusha, where you'll have dinner and overnight at Mount Meru Hotel.
