We recently completed the Annapurna Base Camp Trek in April, which included our requested Poonhill. For us, the ABC Trek was a difficult journey. Even if there are many ups and downs, it's all worthwhile in the end. We are fortunate to witness the dawn and the gorgeously blossoming Rhodondren forest at Poonhill. Following Poonhill, our parents split up and we go on separate travel routes. We continue travelling and are fortunate to witness the stunning mountains at ABC as our parents return to Pokhara. Our leader was Aneel Mahat, and we had Rames' assistance. They had a great personality and were the finest at what they did.Show more

Oriental Journeys is such a wonderful company. The owners are very professional and employ reliable people. Our guide Layu is friendly, smiling and caring person. He briefed everything so properly and we followed his instruction comfortably. The porter Saila was a nice man. They made everything happen perfectly. Owner Machhindra worked with us to fine-tune different needs and also help with any issues that came up. He took care of all things so that we didn’t have to think about any logistics. It was our good decision to choose a local company like Oriental Journeys who knows the areas by heart, knows the local culture, and has lived it their whole lives. ABC trek is a lovely walk for 12 days. Travelling through the paddy fields, passing the cool and well maintained villages,, walking in the deep valleys with alluring waterfall, and soaring mountains was no doubt an amazing experience. Driving along the road to trail head was a crazy experience. Some parts of the trail were covered with rubbish of plastics wrappers and bottles. It was disappointing. Anyway I loved it. The trek was a glorious hike. Our guide Machhindra was helpful and friendly to support us in every step. Thanks to the Operator Oriental Journeys for wonderful trek.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 15th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 15th, 2026, a minimum payment of 35% is required to confirm your booking with Oriental Journeys Pvt. Ltd.. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
