What people love about Annapurna Base Camp Tours
- Annapurna Base Camp Trek (15 destinations)
Nice group, very friendly guides. Only the second day was little bit boring since trekking was only around 4 hours and we arrived at the teahouse already around 1pm. So there was nothing to do then killing time...

When I booked this tour, I was apprehensive because it only had 2 more or less bad reviews. But everything was so thoroughly organised and guides and porters had taken good care of us. They even carried an oxygen tank in case someone suffers from altitude sickness (fortunately, no one did). Personally, I would trim off the first day of walking and the last day and a half as those were a bit boring and entailed lots of road walking. From what I heard from before, accommodation improved greatly (expect no luxury of course, everything was basic, but clean). My only issue was with the food, it was written in the notes "vegetarians are well catered for" but didn't say anything for those that are not. So for LCHF people and such, beware, meat is forbidden for 4-5 days of the trek. The pace of walking was very slow (this can be good or bad, depending on personal preference).

We would like to thank WTX team for best arranging our trekking trip to Annapurna Base camp. It was not so excellent weather as mountains were mostly clowdy, but the occational view of mountains from Kathmandu and Pokhara were mesmarizing. We recommend these time for photographers and nature lovers as early monsoon has started in Nepal whcih has made all greenary around. Special thanks to Raj our guide and Prem our driver in Nepal.

Discover Annapurna Base Camp tours for every budget
Budget-friendly Annapurna Base Camp treks run 7-8 days and pack in great experiences without breaking the bank. You'll get comfortable teahouse lodging, trail meals and knowledgeable guides who know exactly how to pace the route. The path takes you through bamboo forests, across swaying suspension bridges and up those famous stone steps to Ulleri. Our trekkers often mention how the guides handle the steeper sections really well, knowing when to push and when to ease off. Most tours include a stop at Jhinu Danda's natural hot springs - our customers say soaking those tired muscles makes a real difference after long days on the trail.
Luxury Annapurna trips blend helicopter access with high-end stays and rich cultural touches over 10-14 days. It kicks off with an Everest scenic flight before you hop a helicopter straight to Annapurna Base Camp, giving you those mountain views without the long climb up. You'll rest up at premium spots like Mount Kailash Resort in Pokhara and enjoy private cultural shows. The schedule stays flexible - our travelers appreciate being able to add wildlife watching in Chitwan National Park or extra time at Kathmandu's UNESCO sites. The guides earn lots of praise for their deep local knowledge and skill at tweaking plans to match what guests want to see and do.

Demographics
The Annapurna Base Camp trek takes 10-12 days and hits all the right notes for people traveling solo. You'll join a small group with guides who really get the social dynamics right - they read the group well and adjust the hiking pace so everyone's comfortable. They carry oxygen tanks too, which gives that extra peace of mind. The teahouses are simple but clean, and dinner time turns into a social affair with other trekkers sharing stories. Our solo travelers often tell us how much they love learning about Gurung culture and village life along the way. That early morning hike up to Poon Hill pays off with an incredible sunrise, and later in the trek, those hot springs at Jhinu Danda are perfect for tired legs.
Couples have solid options for Annapurna Base Camp, with treks running 8-14 days. The routes mix physical challenge with quiet moments together - that sunrise view from Poon Hill is pretty special when shared, and the hot springs at Jhinu Danda make for a nice break after hiking. Our couples really like how the trek balances the hiking with cultural stops, like walking through Gurung villages and chatting with local families. The guides have great instincts about when to let couples have their space and when to step in with support, especially on those tougher sections near base camp. You'll get time in both Kathmandu and Pokhara too - perfect for nice dinners by the lake and exploring temples at your own pace.
Our younger travelers tend to pick the more action-packed Annapurna routes. Several trips kick off with rafting on the Trishuli River before the trek begins - it's a proper adventure right from the start. The trek moves quickly through forests full of rhododendrons and mountain villages, with fantastic photo spots at Poon Hill and Machhapuchhre Base Camp. The teahouses have a fun social vibe that our younger clients love, and those hot springs at Jhinu Danda are perfect after a long day on the trail. Most trips finish up in Pokhara where you can go paragliding, hop on a mountain bike or grab drinks by the lake with your new trekking buddies.
