When I booked this tour, I was apprehensive because it only had 2 more or less bad reviews. But everything was so thoroughly organised and guides and porters had taken good care of us. They even carried an oxygen tank in case someone suffers from altitude sickness (fortunately, no one did). Personally, I would trim off the first day of walking and the last day and a half as those were a bit boring and entailed lots of road walking. From what I heard from before, accommodation improved greatly (expect no luxury of course, everything was basic, but clean). My only issue was with the food, it was written in the notes "vegetarians are well catered for" but didn't say anything for those that are not. So for LCHF people and such, beware, meat is forbidden for 4-5 days of the trek. The pace of walking was very slow (this can be good or bad, depending on personal preference).Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 14th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 14th, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
