Unfortunately, all departures are fully booked until 20th July. However, we do have 1 spot remaining on the 18th of July. If your travel dates are flexible, you could also consider joining the departure on the 27th of July; we currently have 4 spots available for that date.

Do we have put up tents on this trip or are they already up at campsites? How much walking is there on this trip?

Camping (with shared facilities) (4 nights), Permanent tented camp (with shared facilities) (4 nights), Eco safari camp (with shared facilities) (2 nights). Nights 1, 6, 7 & 10: Camping in National Parks and in the grounds of Lake Argyle and the Fitzroy River Lodge involves dome tents (single/twinshare), swags with fitted sheets & pillows with pillow cases. On site ablutions have hot showers and flush toilets.

What sort of vehicle do we travel in? What sort of tents Are we expected to erect or own tents

The tour travels in a private vehicle. Where possible we aim to have the group in a single vehicle so it's most often a van. This trip is available in Basix and Original styles. Basix camping involves a combination of swags with pop-up tents, to semi-permanent tents with stretcher beds. A sleeping bag is require for Basix level. Original camping also involves several nights with pop-up tents and swags, however also use a combination or permanent tents with proper beds, and cabins, some of which have private facilities and others shared. You will also need a sleeping bag for Original style camping. You would not be setting your own tent.

Fabulous loop trip around the Kimberly region. Warra Dan, our driver was knowledgeable and organised our time well so that we made the most of our days without encountering crowds of other tourists.We covered big distances on sometimes rough terrain but always felt very safe with Warra driving.We arrived at our campsites in daylight which made things easier. The food was plentiful and fresh. Our hostess Nikki was delightful and very helpful. Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before September 28th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after September 28th, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
