Sydney
Start in Sydney's busy center. Check out the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, then head to Bondi Beach. "The Bondi to Coogee coastal walk gives you incredible ocean views - do it early morning to beat both crowds and heat." End your Sydney stay with a beach BBQ before catching the overnight bus to Byron Bay.

Byron Bay Surf & Nature
Take the overnight bus north to Byron Bay (9 hours). This is where you'll experience true Aussie surf culture. Walk up to Cape Byron Lighthouse for sunrise. It's a 45-minute climb but you'll beat the crowds. Surf lessons are best between 7-8 AM when conditions are optimal. Book your accommodations early if visiting during peak season (December-February).
