- Day 1
Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll get picked up and head west toward Maasai Mara National Reserve. Lunch happens along the drive, so you'll arrive with plenty of daylight left. Once you reach the reserve, there's time for an evening game drive to see what wildlife is out and about during those cooler hours.

Maasai Mara National Reserve
This starts early at 06:30 with tea and coffee back at camp, then you head out on a game drive. If you want something different, there's a hot air balloon option at sunrise instead. The early morning is when it works best for spotting animals since temperatures are lower and predators tend to be more active hunting around that time.

Maasai Mara to Serengeti National Park
You'll do a game drive before eating, then pack up to head into Tanzania toward Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you across the border at Sirari with lunch somewhere en route. Once you arrive, there's time for game viewing on the plains in the afternoon before you settle into camp for the night.

- Day 4
Serengeti National Park
This whole day is spent game viewing across Serengeti with your guide choosing where to go based on animal activity and movement patterns. Depending on when you visit, you might see the migration with massive herds of wildebeest and zebras moving through. Your guide knows the patterns and where animals tend to be during different seasons.

- Day 5
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast you'll leave Serengeti and transfer to Ngorongoro Crater. There's an optional stop at Olduvai Gorge if you're interested in that. Lunch takes place with views overlooking the crater rim, and the afternoon involves exploring the different habitats down below. By evening you're back at your lodge where dinner comes with Great Rift Valley views.

Landmarks Ngorongoro Crater Olduvai Gorge - Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
You'll start early and drive down into the Ngorongoro Crater for a six-hour game drive across the crater floor. The landscape shifts between different habitats, and you'll have chances to spot wildlife throughout the morning. Around midday, you'll stop for a picnic lunch right there on the crater floor, surrounded by the animals and scenery. After lunch, you head to your lodge in Karatu, which sits with views overlooking the Great Rift Valley. From there, you'll make the drive back to Arusha to finish out the day.
