  Everything was awesome! Booking was super easy and getting my questions answered was always a breeze. The accommodations were as nice as they could be for a trek. The guides didn’t speak the best English which made communication difficult at times, but I was t expecting them to be fluent. The guides were helpful, the scenery was gorgeous, and the people you meet along the way make this the adventure of a lifetime!Show more

  Tour Operator: Assistance prior to the trek was unproffessional. We had no duffle bags until 6pm, for packing of the items, this wasnt the main issue as we were informed the bags would arrive at 2pm we waited around so we could pack early, waiting in the hotel 4hrs instead, of which was frustratining. We had paid for a seperate guide, however the day before the trek we were informed that we would not have our own guide, the company argued profusely, however we had all the paper work to back it up, luckily our own guide arrived on the day we set off on the trek. We had been sent an itinery for the trek, of which states breakfast was included throughout the trek, however breakfast was not included on any days during the trek, and we were informed the wrong intinery was sent, in fact 2 itineries were sent before/during the trek, neither were correct, and we never did recieve the correct one in the end. During the trek 2 girls, part of the same group, had not received sleeping bags for the 1st night, of which were complimentary, and should have been included, I stepped in to ensure the girls received the bags the next day. Most other tour operators carry medical/first aid kits on the trek, however this company does not even provide this essential item to the guides/porters. Trekking guide: Our trekking guide (Manoj) saved the day for us, an excellent experiemced guide, and I am happy to say a friend. He helped me through my altitude headaches, carried bags and reassured us throughout the trip that we had a proffessional by our side. Personally, Manoj made this trip an excellent and enjoyable experience, despite the above issues with the tour operator.Show more

  Trip was excellent with good accommodation standards. Experienced guides and porters. I suffered with altitude sickness and was helped through it by the guide Manoj. Manoj and the Porter were excellent throughout, placed all food and drinks orders. we were not provided a duffel bag until late afternoon the day before the trek after being told it was due 13:00 and waiting from 13:00 til 18:00. Also breakfast was originally included, then once on the trail we were informed the wrong itinerary had been provided and breakfast was not included. I am yet to see the correct itinerary Overall a great experience and do not underestimate how difficult this trek is. Train hard and prepare yourself physically and mentally.Show more

  Airport pickup was ready for us when we arrived. I enjoyed the day of sightseeing in Kathmandu. We visited 4 sites all worth checking out. You have to pay the entrance fees and that is noted in the tour's description. Hotel in Kathmandu is centrally located and close to shops and restaurants. Room (pre and post trek) were nice, comfortable beds and hot showers. Hotel staff is friendly. On the trek: Trek is doable for any fitness level but don't rush it either to avoid AMS. Tea houses along the way are nice but get more basic past Dingboche. No running water from Dingboche upwards. Prices also go way up past Dingboche so by toilet paper in Namche. My favorite tea houses going up were in Namche and near Tengboche. The tea house about 20 minutes past Tengboche had paid hot shower with great pressure. Tea house in Gorak Shep had water for washing your hands and face plus they were extra generous with the heating stoves. For food, stick to vegetarian. Guide (Ram) and porter were both great, friendly and helpful. Farewell dinner should be at a different restaurant, it's the same place as the welcome dinner. Overall great trip and wish list trek complete! I will consider Luxury Holidays Nepal for future treks in Nepal.Show more

  Everest Base Camp was my long time dream. Luxury Holidays Nepal helped it to come true. The Guide Ram and his Sherpa services were wonderful, supporting me all the way to the camp and back. I was very impressed by their professional way to lead, keep an eye on my health and just be fun , good sport at the same time.
