Victoria Falls
You'll arrive at Victoria Falls whenever works for your flight schedule. An included transfer gets you from the airport to your accommodation, so you can settle in and get oriented after traveling.

Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park
This morning you have the option to take a guided tour of Victoria Falls, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site, or just relax and enjoy the area on your own. Later in the day, you'll head to Painted Dog Conservation headquarters to learn what they're doing to protect and rehabilitate African wild dogs. After that, you'll drive out on safari through a private concession next to Hwange National Park, one of Zimbabwe's largest wildlife reserves.

Landmarks Victoria Falls Hwange National Park - Day 3
Hwange National Park
You'll be out on safari twice today in and around Hwange National Park. The morning and late afternoon drives focus on tracking elephant and buffalo herds, plus giraffes, lions, zebras, and African wild dogs. Back at the lodge by evening, you can hang out on the deck or head to the underground hiding area, which is great for watching wildlife at the watering hole.

Landmarks Hwange National Park Dete Vlei - Day 4
Hwange National Park to Kasane, Botswana
You'll leave Hwange and drive north across the border into Botswana, heading to Kasane. Once you get settled at your lodge, you'll go out on a boat safari along the Chobe River. You can look for hippos, crocodiles, elephants bathing, and lots of birds, wrapping up the evening with a sunset over the water.

Kasane, Botswana
This morning brings another safari along the Chobe River in Chobe National Park. You'll keep an eye out for elephants, buffalo, lions, zebra, rare semi-aquatic antelope, and birdlife. The afternoon is yours to explore the area at your own pace, or just relax at the lodge.

Kasane to Okavango Delta
A scenic flight takes you into the Okavango Delta. You'll climb into a mokoro (dugout canoe) and paddle along the waterways, getting your first real look at the wildlife here. After settling into your tent and exploring camp, you'll head out on a wildlife cruise spotting hippos and elephants, then enjoy a sundowner drink before dinner under the stars.

- Day 7
Okavango Delta, Chief's Island
You're off early in mokoros through narrow delta channels to reach Chief's Island in Moremi Game Reserve. From there, you'll do a bush walk with a guide tracking giraffe, zebra, lion, kudu, elephant, hippo, and birds while learning about animal tracks and medicinal plants. Back at camp for brunch and some downtime, you'll have high tea before another boating trip or game drive, finishing the night with stargazing and listening to the delta sounds.

Landmarks Chief's Island - Day 9
Okavango Delta to Maun
After an early morning wildlife trip, you'll fly to Maun. There you'll meet with someone from National Geographic's Okavango Wilderness Project and watch the documentary 'Into the Okavango' to understand delta conservation. That evening, local author Bonty Botumile will share traditional foods and stories about the region's cultural history around a fire.
