Victoria Falls
Your Expedition Leader will meet you at the airport whenever you arrive, and the group gathers to go over the next few days. The airport transfer to Victoria Falls is all arranged, so you'll head straight there without worrying about logistics.

Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park
This morning you have flexibility to check out Victoria Falls on your own or join a guided tour if you want more context. After lunch, you'll head to Painted Dog Conservation to see the work they do with injured African wild dogs and understand their protection efforts. From there, a private safari takes you into a concession next to Hwange National Park where you'll look for elephants, buffalo, and other wildlife as the day winds down.

Hwange National Park
Early morning and late afternoon safaris take you through Hwange National Park and Dete Vlei, where you'll track elephant and buffalo herds, giraffes, lions, zebras, and the rare African wild dogs. Back at the lodge by evening, you can relax on the deck or head to the underground hide for wildlife photography as animals come to the watering hole.

Landmarks Hwange National Park Dete Vlei - Day 4
Hwange National Park to Chobe National Park
You'll leave Hwange and drive north toward the Botswana border, arriving in Kasane, which serves as the gateway to Chobe National Park. After settling in at the lodge, a boat safari on the Chobe River gets you on the water looking for hippos, crocodiles, bathing elephants, and birdlife, with a fiery sunset to cap off the day.

Chobe National Park
Morning safari runs along the Chobe River banks where you'll search for elephants, buffalo, lions, zebras, semi-aquatic antelope, and various bird species. The afternoon is yours to wander the area at your own pace or just take time to rest before dinner.

Kasane to Okavango Delta
A scenic flight takes you into the Okavango Delta's interior, and then you'll climb into a mokoro (dugout canoe) to glide along the waterways at a slower pace. Once you settle into camp, lunch comes first, followed by a wildlife cruise hunting for hippos and elephants. The evening brings a sundowner drink back at camp and dinner under the stars.

Landmarks Okavango Delta 
- Day 7
Okavango Delta
An early start has you hopping into mokoros through narrow channels to reach Chief's Island in Moremi Game Reserve. A bush walk lets you track giraffe, zebra, lion, kudu, elephant, hippo, and birds while learning about animal tracks and plant uses. Brunch happens back at camp, then you'll have free time to relax. High tea comes next, followed by either another boat or vehicle safari, and later you can stargaze and listen to the delta sounds after dark.

Okavango Delta
Morning and late afternoon excursions happen by boat, foot, or jeep depending on water levels and conditions. Between activities you'll have time at camp to use the swimming area, read on the deck, or keep binoculars handy to spot wildlife passing through.

Landmarks Okavango Delta Chief's Island - Day 9
Okavango Delta to Maun
An early wildlife excursion comes first, then you'll fly to Maun where a National Geographic Okavango Wilderness Project member talks about the multi-year biodiversity survey and watershed protection work. You'll watch the documentary 'Into the Okavango' and learn about delta conservation efforts. Later, local author Bonty Botumile shares storytelling and traditional foods while discussing the region's cultural history and Botswana's literary heritage.
