Thank you so much for sharing your incredible experience on the 75-day Nairobi to Cape Town trip! We're thrilled to hear that it was truly a "trip of a lifetime" for you and that you were able to experience the diversity of Africa. It’s wonderful to know that you enjoyed the truck setup, the social atmosphere it encouraged, and the comfortable journey despite your concerns about car sickness. We're especially pleased to hear that the food, prepared by Often and Alexis, stood out as some of the tastiest meals you’ve ever had! It’s great to know that the meal times, cook groups, and the unique moments like garlic bread-making and recipe exchanges created lasting memories and a strong sense of community. We’re also glad that Often and Alexis contributed so much to the experience. Often’s hands-on approach and ability to fix things on the go, along with Alexis’s thoughtful attention to detail and organizational skills, really helped make the trip smooth and enjoyable. We’re thrilled that their passion for Africa and their dedication to the group made such an impact. Your practical advice is much appreciated, and we’re sure it will be valuable to future travelers. From the USD exchange tips to the reminder to buy a pillow and bring binoculars, your tips will definitely help others prepare for their adventure. Thank you for recommending Oasis Overland and for sharing your heartfelt reflection on your trip. It’s amazing to know that Africa has left such an indelible mark on you, and we’re so happy you now have a new family of friends and memories to cherish.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feedback. We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed Africa’s wildlife, scenery, and people—it truly is a spectacular destination. We're sorry to hear that your experience wasn't entirely up to expectations. We understand how challenging it can be when the truck feels cramped, and we appreciate you sharing your concerns. We will take your feedback into consideration as we continually strive to improve our service. In regard to your tour leader, we’re disappointed to hear that her performance didn't meet the standard you hoped for. We always aim for our leaders to be knowledgeable and organized, and we will certainly review this feedback with the team to ensure better preparation for future trips. We also regret to hear about the group members who chose to leave early, and we’ll investigate this matter to prevent similar experiences.

    Asked on April 27th, 2025

I want to join the tour but I can not join on 16Tth of June. I can join on 28th of June. is it possible to join later and make discount as I will not be for 12 days in the tour? How much should I pay the total and local payment? Where can you pick me up?

    Tour Details
    • Oasis OverlandOperatorWritten April 2025

We have available seats for the 16th June date, however, we don't offer discounts for wanting to join later in the trip as you will still occupy a seat that someone else could have booked. If you are looking at joining on the 28th June, that will be when the group is in Kigali. After this we are going to rather remote places, and the next place to easily join will be Nairobi on the 5th/6th July. In this case it is best to book the 56-day Nairobi to Cape Town trip. Would joining in Kigali or Nairobi be best for you?
