      We mean travel insurance. Our main concern is for health and medical emergency but most clients purchase a comprehensive policy to cover bags/ loss of deposits etc (as well as medical emergency).

    I'm considering this tour vs camping in Namibia. I hold Lithuanian passport, so I will need to get a visa for Namibia, but in your opinion what is the biggest difference between these two? I feel like Namibia focused tour has more wildlife, but also it would be amazing to visit Cape Town. Also, do you know if I could purchase somewhere the sleeping bag when arriving in Namibia?

      Tour departs from Urban Camp, Windhoek at 7am on Day 1. Tour ends at Ashanti Lodge in Cape Town in the later afternoon on Day 11. An exact time cannot be given, but anytime between 3pm-6pm. We do suggest clients only fly out the following day.

    What is the risk of this tour being canceled for these dates? Why am I asking this? I will buy my flight ticket after making a tour reservation, but unfortunately I do not have the chance to change it after purchasing the ticket. So in any case, I cannot cancel the ticket after purchasing it. My question is, will this tour be guaranteed between 24.04.2025 - 04.05.2025?

      The 24 April tour is available to book, it is not yet guaranteed. A tour of this nature requires a minimum of 6 passengers in order to be guaranteed to run. Currently the 24 April tour date has no other passengers booked. Given the time frame we are hopeful that interest will pick up in the next couple of months but it is too early to tell. Should the tour not reach minimum numbers we will make a decision to cancel the tour, this decision will be made 8 weeks prior to departure date. We do suggest clients to wait until their tour date has been guaranteed before booking flights.

    Looking at 11-day Namibia to Cape Town tour for me, my husband and our 12-year old son. The tour age looks like is from 18 years old, our son is 12, would it be ok for him to travel with 2 of us? Also, what would be the price for him and will he be able to sleep in our tent or we'll have to have 2 tents between 3 of us?

      Unfortunately the Adventure-style tour age requirement is 18yrs and above. We do offer Small Group Safaris that allows for children but the tour does not go to Namibia, rather it goes to South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana.

      We typically receive many bookings within 4-5 months of a departure. Most people would say the ideal time for southern Africa is southern winter/spring (Jul/Aug/Sep) but the trip runs year round and lots of people do travel in Feb/Mar/April.

      The only Adventure tour on the road running at this time is the Desert Tracker tour which started in Cape Town and will end in Livingstone (heading northbound). Sadly the southbound tour did not gain enough interest and we had no bookings for it. We are unable to assist in this case.

    Would you recommend a malaria protection for the Etosha National Park in Namibia? What type of tents will we be using during camping?

      We do recommend Malaria protection for the time spent in Etosha. We strongly recommend seeking professional medical advice from your doctor for appropriate anti-malarial tablets. The tents are 2-man canvas dome tents with built-in mosquito netting. We recommend clients also travel with anti-mosquito spray or citronella spray for additional protection.
