Regrettably we do not offer a single supplement on our Adventure Accommodated/ Camping tours. Accommodation is on a twin share basis with another passenger of the same sex. If we not have another solo person of same sex in the group then we provide single accommodation at no additional charge. The 26 February departure has seats available but is not yet guaranteed.

Im planning to join this tour im May but before this tour ill be joining 2 tours, 1st The South Affrican Escape tour. Then to follow the Okavango tour which ends in Victoria Falls. Now my question is if im allowed to bring my stuff in a suitcase or it has to be in a backpack?

Each passenger has an allocated on-board Truck Locker to fit all their belongings in. The locker measurements are approximately 700mm x 330mm x 540mm. As a guide we suggest you keep to your airline restriction (20kg or less). Most people bring along a backpack (or other soft bag, no hard cases allowed) and a smaller day bag.

what do you mean by "simple accommodation"

8 nights twin share accommodation, 2 nights bush camping at Spitzkoppe and Khomas Region (equipment supplied). It is of a tourist class/backpacking standard.

His job is SO hard, but he nurtures authentic relationships between himself, the guests, the camp workers/owners and our incredible driver 'Masai'. His approach and avid professionalism harnesses a community atmosphere and his local knowledge is rivaled by none. This guy is the best in the business. Seriously.   Im interested in this tour? My question is when do we arrive Windhoek? Seems like the 1st day once in Windhoek, this tour will immediately depart for Etosha. Does that mean I have to arrive Windhoek the day before?

  We strongly recommend clients to arrive the day prior to departure as the tour departs early morning, approximately 07H00 on Day 1. There is a pre departure meeting scheduled for 18H00 on the day prior to departure and this gives you the opportunity to meet the crew, your fellow travelers and receive a tour briefing.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 15th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 15th, 2026, a minimum payment of $300 is required to confirm your booking with Acacia Adventure Holidays. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 61 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Acacia Adventure Holidays will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
