Our guide, cook and driver were the best part of the trip. They were very friendly and looked after the whole group. You get to see so many amazing animals. The Okavango Delta was a once in a life time experience.

    2.0 - Rather poor

Very bad customer service at all, do not respect his customer and meet their need. He only care about the inventory of the first Aid box, and do not treat Customer's safety as his first priority. Very poor guy!

    3.5 - Good

The transportation truck should be fitted with better suspensions. It was a bone shaker on rough dirt-road. The tent that I stayed had leaks on the floor and at the corner, most probably punched by thorns and stones on the ground. However, the meals were good.

Both guides (Simba Mugondo and Shimane Lekoto) were excellent hosts. All the game drives have been adventurous. Especially the trips to Okavango Delta, Chobe and Motopos were truly memorable.

Questions & Answers

Here we have collected and answered the most frequently asked questions about this tour.

    • Where and when does the tour end?

The tour ends in Johannesburg on the evening of Day 18, after a full day of travelling and sightseeing. There is no accommodation arranged for tonight, however we can help arrange this if you would like to extend your stay. The return time is dependant upon external factors, and therefore we advise not booking flights before 10 pm.

    • Where and when does the tour start?

The tour starts at The Holiday Inn Rosebank, approximately 25kms from Johannesburg's O. R. Tambo International Airport. This is where you will meet the group on Day 1 of the tour. There are no activities planned for this day aside from your important welcome meeting at 6pm, so you can settle in and explore the city.

    • Do you arrange airport transfers?

Of course we can! In fact we highly recommend pre-booking an arrival transfer for this tour. This is not included in the tour price and will be charged at the standard local rate. In this case your driver will be waiting in the arrivals area, and will have a card with your name on it.

Please contact our travel experts to arrange this once you have a confirmed booking.
