Berlin
A local guide takes you around Berlin by coach, showing you Museum Island, the Television Tower, Brandenburg Gate, and Reichstag along with various city parks. You'll then visit the Holocaust Memorial and Berlin Wall Memorial Museum to understand the city's difficult history. The afternoon is yours to explore on your own, and later you'll head to the Kantstrasse area for the evening with its bars and restaurants.

You'll travel through forests to reach Dresden, where there's time to see its impressive palaces and grab lunch. After that, you continue into the Czech Republic and arrive in Prague. Once there, you check out the lively Old Town Square and pick a restaurant for dinner before heading back to your hotel.

Prague

Innsbruck - Zurich

Later you head to Lucerne to see this Swiss city before returning to Zurich. There's also an optional full-day trip to Mount Titlis available.

Zurich - Bellinzona - Como - Milan
Starting early, you cross the Alps into the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. You stop in Bellinzona to see its three UNESCO medieval castles, then move on to the lakeside town of Como with its gardens and cathedral. Next you reach Milan where a guide shows you Piazza del Duomo before you transfer to your hotel.

Milan - Pisa - Rome
You arrive in Pisa and take a small tourist train to Piazza dei Miracoli. There's time to see the famous Leaning Tower and the beautiful art complex around it. Later, you depart for Rome and arrive in the city after it gets dark.

- Day 10
Rome
A three-hour guided tour combines walking through Imperial Rome with some bus views. You see the Arch of Constantine, the outside of the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. The tour ends at Vatican City around 11:00 a.m., and the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel are optional. In the evening, you transfer to Trastevere for dinner at one of the neighborhood's cozy restaurants.

You head north to Florence and go directly to Piazzale Michelangelo for views of the city. The afternoon is free to wander around this open-air museum with plenty of restaurants nearby for dinner.

Your hotel is in the Mestre district.
