- Day 2
Breisach
After docking in Breisach, a food and wine destination between the Rhine River and the Black Forest, you'll choose your activity for the day. You can do wine tasting at Kaiserstuhl, visit Colmar with its canals and half-timbered houses, or explore Freiburg on the edge of the Black Forest.

Strasbourg to Mannheim
In Strasbourg, the capital of the Alsace wine region, you have options. Take a guided walking tour of the city, a coach tour through the wine region with tasting, or cycle through on an e-bike exploring the city's 500 km of bicycle trails. By afternoon you head to Mannheim.

Mannheim to Heidelberg region
You arrive in Mannheim with its recognisable 18th-century grid pattern and grand Baroque squares. Choose an orientation tour of Heidelberg with free time, a historical tour including Heidelberg Castle and the world's largest wine barrel, or visit the Fritz Ritter vineyard in Bad Durkheim for a tour and wine tasting.

Rüdesheim
Rudesheim awaits with steep vineyards, half-timbered houses and wine taverns that reflect over two millennia of wine cultivation. You can visit Siegfried's Musikkabinett Museum with mechanical musical instruments, or hike through rolling vineyards before taking a cable car down. Later, relax on board as you cruise through the Rhine Gorge with its 40 hilltop castles.

Tonight brings a private classical concert in the Liebfrauenkirche in Trier.

This day is yours to relax on board as you cruise through the Moselle Valley, one of Europe's most beautiful waterways. Düsseldorf
Start your day in Düsseldorf by picking one of several options depending on your interests. If you want to walk around, a guided tour takes you through the old town and then over to the modern Media Harbour where you'll see the contrast between historic and contemporary architecture. Prefer cycling? You can rent an e-bike and head along the Rhine toward Kaiserswerth, a historic area that's a nice ride from the city center. If you're into beer, local microbreweries offer tasting experiences where you'll sample what Düsseldorf's craft scene has to offer. For art lovers, the K21 Museum is open most days (though K20 is the spot if you're visiting on a Monday), and both showcase contemporary art collections. You arrive in Arnhem after lunch, located at the edge of the Veluwe Nature Reserve with dense forest and green parklands. Visit the Airborne Museum for an account of the Battle of Arnhem, check out the Netherlands Open Air Museum's 44-hectare outdoor exhibits of historic houses, or see Palais Het Loo, a royal summer home from 1685.

On a walking tour with your local guide, you meander through cobbled laneways to charming town squares seeing the Belfry of Bruges, the medieval bell tower, while learning about the town's history. By evening, you join fellow travellers for an included dinner with delicious Flemish cuisine.
