  • K

    Kelly

    Asked on March 22nd, 2026

Recommended shoes for the various locations and tours. Tennis or leather walking shoes?

    Tour Details
    • Insight VacationsOperatorWritten March 2026

For this tour, the best footwear is sturdy, comfortable walking shoes, either tennis shoes or leather walking shoes are fine, as long as they provide good support and traction. Hiking boots are not required, but shoes with non-slip soles are strongly recommended for glacier walks, national park trails, and uneven terrain.

  • J

    Jerry

    Asked on August 30th, 2023

What is the difference between the 8 day version vs. the 9 day version? For optional activities, are there extra charges or we simply have multiple activities to choose from and they are all included in the package?

    Price / Availability
    Tour Details
    • Insight VacationsOperatorWritten August 2023
