- Day 1
Kigali to Akagera National Park
Start with breakfast at your hotel in Kigali, then head to Akagera National Park for the day. You'll grab lunch at the park before getting on a boat ride along the Akagera River to look for hippos and crocodiles. After that, head back to your lodge for dinner.

Akagera National Park
You'll spend the full day on a game drive through Akagera's savannah grasslands after breakfast. The drive focuses on finding lions, leopards, elephants, antelopes, and other wildlife throughout the park.

Landmarks Akagera National Park - Day 3
Akagera National Park to Kigali
After breakfast around 10am, you'll leave Akagera National Park and drive back to Kigali. From there, you'll transfer to your lodge and settle in for the night before heading out on tomorrow's gorilla tracking adventure.

Volcanoes National Park (Gorilla Tracking)
After breakfast, you'll head to park headquarters for a briefing before your trek to find mountain gorillas in the forest, which can take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours. You'll then spend an hour with the gorillas once you locate them. If interested, you can optionally visit a local Batwa community to learn about their culture and see their school.

After breakfast, you'll drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ishasha sector, watching for tree-climbing lions on the way. An afternoon game drive follows, and then you'll relax at your lodge for dinner.

Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start early with coffee, then take a game drive through the Kasenyi plains to spot bush buck, Uganda Kob, buffaloes, lions, and elephants. After a late breakfast, spend the afternoon on a boat ride along Kazinga Channel where you'll see hippos, crocodiles, and various birds.

Kibale National Park
Start by searching for chimpanzees near Kanyanchu while also watching for other primates like golden monkeys, olive baboons, and colobus monkeys. Later, take a 3 to 4 hour guided walk through Bigodi village where you'll visit a traditional healer, local homes, a school, church, and the trading centre to understand local culture and community life.
