Booked my Rwanda's trip with New Horizons. From the first contacts, the new horizon team was very responsive, flexible and good to customize trips and this contributed to choosing them for my vacation and business in Rwanda. I was impressed with the progress made by this country and their fight against the global virus. Headed to Nyungwe Forest and I did my visit to different museums on the way including incredible cows at the King's Palace. Had my lunch in Butare and did my Canopy Walk in the afternoon.On my second day, I did Chimpanzeess and Colobus Monkeys which were amazing. Lastly, Have enjoyed Lake Kivu with hikes to Napoleon island and hiking & Biking around my Hotel in Kibuye. All I can say is that Rwanda is beautiful and New Horizons are the great partners for Safaris and business in Rwanda, My Nyungwe Forest experience was indeed the best. Highly recommend them.Show more

I booked my trip with New Horizon Tours as my German friend referred them to me. I wanted to see the chimps and hiking in Nyungwe National Park. Team New Horizons assisted promptly to my queries and suggested some nice trails to hike in Nyungwe. We finalized itinerary and got a link for making payments for booking. During my trip day (August 22nd,2019) , i met my driver Emmanuel at my Hotel in Kimironko and we started what turned up to be the most memorable trip of my lifetime. We started with visiting several museums including the King palace and Ethnographic as well as the history of the rocks and other historic attractions in the south. Reaching Nyungwe Forest was amazing as we started viewing birds, monkeys, spotted a shy Antiloppe and indeed the natural forest. In Nyungwe, activities started with early morning chimps trek ( wake up at 4:00), did Colobus monkeys trek, Waterfalls hike as well as Canopy Walk. Also had a fantastic tea factory tour and tasting which is indeed fantastic. My trip continued with more exploration of Western Rwanda with visiting the boarder with Bukavu in Congo,Lake Kivu experience and boat trip in Kibuye as well as singing with locals at the Ndaba's rock. Tasted local meals and dishes and met many locals and international friends. Thank you very much Emmanuel and team for showing me a lot about Rwanda and organizing such nice trips.Show more

My wife and i had a wonderful experience in Rwanda with New Horizons Tours. We had a long holiday season in Rwanda and rented a house and a Landcruiser for use while in Rwanda. We spent some of our weekends with Emmanuel. The best thing with him is that he is honest , open communicator, and truly dedicated to support you with all your needs. My children enjoyed being with him as well. Emmanuel is able to make any arrangements that suits your needs no matter the budget. He took us to the genocide memorial, visited Akagera with him; game drive and boating trip, visited imigongo arts center, trekked Golden Monkeys in volcanoes, Ibyiwacu Cultural Village visit, twin lakes experience with a wonderful experience at the beach in Rubavu. We thank him for providing him nice experience, his company is highly recommended.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 15th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 15th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with New Horizon Africa Safaris. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 90 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and New Horizon Africa Safaris will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
