Can you help me apply for Turkmenistan tourist visa? I am a US Citizen.

It is too late for Turkmenistan visa for November 15, 2023 departure. We need at least 60 days for applying Turkmenistan visa.

can I ask about both the local & international flights - are any of them included in the price. Also do you go to the Darvaza crater in Turkemnistan on this tour

The only flight included on this particular tour would be the domestic flight from Khiva to Bukhara and this is only when there is a flight. Darwaza is about 4 hours drive north of Capital city Ashgabat. It has not got even simple economy class hotels and guests need to stay in traditional yurts with shared facilities and bathrooms. To enjoy a visit to there you need an overnight stay as it is a gas crater with an infinitely burning flame. Visiting it during the day time does not make any sense. Hence it is not included in our programs. We may arrange an optional visit to Darwaza from Ashgabat during the regular tour for interested persons. Price for only 1 person by a jeep including all services and guiding to Darwaza $ 579, if 2 persons then the price would be $ 365 per person

We would like a tour like this: Ashgabat, Mary, Dashoguz, Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand, Tashkent, Khujand and Dushanbe. Can you offer? If so, can you offer a private tour to stay in the best hotels in each place and have good-condition cars?

We can arrange the best hotels, local home dinner and show experiences along with best places to see with professional guide of desired language. Upgrading the hotels from what we usually use (4-5 star) and arranging all on private basis would make the tour price a bit higher than group prices. Sending you the private quote would take 24 to 48 hours.

Are there May departures for the tour? Which dates are guaranteed? Do I need to arrive a day early? Do I need help with Turkmenistan visa?

Currently no May departures are guaranteed. We have 2 guaranteed departures: June 5 and Sep 4 2023 with 6 people on each. US and Canadian citizens do not need visa for several countries. Turkmenistan visa requires a Letter of Invitation (LOI) which we will help you obtain.

Is land border crossing allowed from one country to another. I am a US citizen. Fully vaccinated with 2 booster shots. Which countries require a visa, an invitation letter and a PCR test ( covid entry requirements).

Particularly enjoyed the dancing and singing. Perhaps a few less churches and a visit to an “industrial” winery at the start to put the bio wine makers into perspective. We really enjoyed the unscheduled visit to the food market and suggest this becomes a regular feature. Loved Georgia, the people made us really welcome. Highly recommended.Show more

  Entries are allowed from one country to another. Uzbekistan: Free entry with any electronic or hard-copy vaccination certificate. 72 hrs pre-arrival PCR for non-vaccinated travelers. All borders are open. Tajikistan: Free entry with 72 hrs pre-arrival PCR for all arrivals (under review). Border with Uzbekistan is open. Border with Kyrgyzstan is closed. Turkmenistan will be open to visitors in July and they will let us know what is needed as far as COVID entry rules.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 6th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 6th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Flo Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
