Thanks to our guide, we learned a lot about the country (including its history) and the people who live there. Our driver drove us very safely over the roads, some of which took some getting used to. The driver and guide listened to our wishes and tried to implement them. It could not have been better. The accommodation and meals in the guest houses were always a great experience. The guest houses were interesting, the furnishings with some old furniture and beautiful woodwork..... The food was always lovingly prepared and so plentiful that the table was often not big enough. Not forgetting the good wine. We found the Georgians to be very sociable, approachable and warm-hearted. Unfortunately, you sometimes spend a lot of time in the car, but this cannot be helped by the state of the roads. My only comment is that the trip was described as suitable for people aged 9 to 99. For an age group of over 80 (even if they are still fit), I would see restrictions and refrain from hikes where there is a risk of falling. All in all, very successful and to be recommended. The price-performance ratio was also good.Show more

Before, you‘ll not be able to hike or spend much time outside the car (I was told otherwise a week before departure only to be told ultimately that hiking is not possible because of wolfs…). The tour does not provide substantial information about the sights visited (besides dates, some nationalist legends and religious myths). For the price it‘s just very little. The destinations were selected for a reason, is to surprise me with beauty of nature or of traditions. Mr.Koba was not only my guied but friend and brother, we laughed and joked together a lot! He made adjustments to fit my needs, added many extra stops and experiences more than what was in the program.
