  I recently had the privilege of experiencing the Holi Festival Celebration in Mathura-Vrindavan, India, and it was an unforgettable adventure! The two-day celebration was a kaleidoscope of colors, music, and joy, leaving me with lifelong memories. The festivities began in Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, where we immersed ourselves in the vibrant colors and infectious energy of the locals. We danced to the rhythmic beats of traditional music, indulged in delicious sweets and snacks, and reveled in the joyous atmosphere. The next day, we headed to Vrindavan, where the celebrations reached new heights. We witnessed the iconic Lathmar Holi, where women playfully beat men with sticks, and the Widow's Holi, a heartwarming celebration of color and joy. Our guide, Mahipal, was exceptional, sharing fascinating stories and insights about the significance of Holi and the local culture. The arrangements, including accommodations and food, were excellent, with warm hospitality. This experience was a true reflection of India's rich cultural heritage and the spirit of Holi - a celebration of love, color, and joy.   Although I had all in all a good trip in India and had a good Holi Celebration (our driver and guide was great and accommodating), the level of the hotels during my stay were not all 4 stars, as falsely advertise by Memorable India, especially the hotel in Mathura/ Vrindavan, which was not a 4 star hotel. I made a complaint on the level of the hotel to Memorable India and asked for a refund for the 2 nights, and this was not taken seriously at all, the agency started to make false allegation and assumptions on my statements not being true and still now refuse to provide me with a refund; Tour Radar is also involved in my case now. I paid (quite a lot of money, as a solo traveler) for a tour with 4 star hotels, and I expected to stay in 4 star hotels. In 71 countries I visited and in many trips performed, I almost never experienced such a bad service like the one of Memorable India. So, to you fellow traveler, who thinks about booking this trip, be ready to have a good experience in the golden triangle and holi, but also be aware that the level of the hotels are not all as advertised, and that Memorable India is not a reliable and competent travel agency, which cannot take a negative feedback for their improvement. P.S. I do not know if Memorable India will be able to comment on my review, but be aware that their comment might not be based on true facts, as they have a tendency to not speak the true.Show more

  Dear Traveller, we are sorry that your expectation didnt meet in Mathura Hotel as its a not a regular tourist destination and in Holi its over crowded place, regarding which we have mentioned in the package as information.   It was great to be with the group of people from different country, celebrating our childhood memories. We danced, sang and played with colors with our new friends in Delhi, Mathura and Vrindavan. The hotel in Delhi was amazing and the driver was very friendly. The best part of the trip was the darshan of Shri Radha Madhav in Vrindavan. I have never seen such a beautiful Gopi Chandan and Jhula. I will definitely recommend this trip to my friends, who are planning to go to India.Show more
